Installation and Upgrades / Re: Can't add new users...
« on: March 24, 2014, 09:37:37 pm »
Hallo Robb,

my problem is that I'm not able to save a new user.
I don't have more than 500 accounts (only 14)
If I want to save I get the message that an unexpected error has occurred....

Under technical details I see the message I posted before.
There is written something about a wrong SID ...
The message behind the trace button:

Hallo,

since one week I'm not able to add a new user.
My System is a Zentyal 3.0.32 Server with Samba DC. Is there any possibility to fix this problem?

Code: [Select]

root command echo 'dn: CN= changetype: add xidNumber: 50000 objectSid: objectClass: sidMap type: ID_TYPE_UID cn: ' | ldbmodify -H /opt/samba4/private/idmap.ldb failed. Installation and Upgrades / Re: No listen sockets or ports specified
« on: December 05, 2012, 10:04:02 am »
Hallo,

The problem is solved partially...
I restored the modules configuration from backup but now I've got an error for Jabber ldap part:

jabberUid: attribute type undefined

How can I extend my ldap database for jabber? Desinstall and reinstall of jabber module don't help.

best regards

Denis

Hallo,

I'm using Zentyal 3.0.

After an upgrade of Zentyal modules Core, Users, Mailfilter(?) toda I've got this error in Logfiles:

No listen sockets or ports specified

and when fetchmail is geting the mails then

 Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table

And the mails are not delivered anymore....

It seems ther is something wrong with ldap too???

Can someone give me a hint? I can't start amavis anymore too since this update. Maybe there is something wrong in the new amavis.conf or in postfix part ...

best regards

Denis

Hallo,

Yes apparmor was the reason ...
There where some files deleted. The whole directory /etc/apparmor.d/ was empty.

I made a copy of this files from other zentyal machine and now all is fine  :D :D :D :D :D

thank you for support.

}

the directory /etc/apparmor.d/tunables/global is empty ....
there has to be  the global and the home variable - right?

Hallo,

my problem here ist that the dhcp-module is not working correctly.
In the dashboard the module is shown as stoped an when I try to activate following message:

Code: [Select]
Error restarting service. See /var/log/ebox/ebox.log for more information.

/var/log/ebox/ebox.log

Code: [Select]
2011/06/20 23:01:25 ERROR> RestartService.pm:57 EBox::CGI::EBox::RestartService::__ANON__ - Restart of EBox::DHCP=HASH(0x7f565e3f9070) from dashboard failed: root command /etc/init.d/apparmor restart failed.
Error output: Found reference to variable HOME, but is never declared
 AppArmor parser error for /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.dhcpd3 in /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.dhcpd3 at line 4: Could not open 'tunables/global'

Command output:  * Reloading AppArmor profiles
    ...fail!
.
Exit value: 123

it seems there is a probelm with dhcp-module ...

when I start the dhcp-server by hand
Code: [Select]
/etc/init.d/ebox dhcp restart
the dhcp-server ist starts working and the dhcp-module is shown as stoped.

The dhcp-module is version 2.0.6, installed and activated.

Is this behaviour known?

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Problem: Ldap not indexed
« on: February 25, 2011, 12:19:26 pm »
Hallo,

I solved this problem on this way:

http://muzso.hu/2010/04/26/fixing-bdb_equality_candidates-errors-on-your-openldap-server

but in my case the index-files of ldap-tree are in /var/lib/ldap (for changing the rights) and not in /var/lib/slapd as described in this Howto

Installation and Upgrades / Problem: Ldap not indexed
« on: February 21, 2011, 02:49:08 pm »
Hallo
I'm new in this Forum and not so expirienced in ldap.

I hav following problem:

Code: [Select]
Feb 21 14:25:35 dmt1 slapd[14121]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (zarafaAccount) not indexed
Feb 21 14:25:35 dmt1 slapd[14121]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (uidNumber) not indexed
Feb 21 14:25:35 dmt1 slapd[14121]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (zarafaAccount) not indexed
Feb 21 14:25:35 dmt1 slapd[14121]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (uidNumber) not indexed

It seems that the ldap-tree is not indexed for some fields.
I use Zentyal 2.0.15 with 64 bits.

Regards Denis
