Avec plaisir On veut toujours soutenir les initiatives proposés par des membres de la communauté, notamment quand on voit qu'il y a des bonnes chances de succès, comme celle-ci.

N'hésitez pas de partager dans les sections principales du forum ces contributions qui vous trouvez les plus intéressantes. Ou bien les ajouter dans la documentation de communauté pour que les non-francophones puissent en profiter.

According to forum statistics, there are 124 members from France. If we add part of the 155 Canadian and 53 Belgian members, apart from several assorted members from other French-speaking countries, we have an idea of the interest of a French board.

As a comparison, when we decided to open the Dutch board 6-7 weeks ago there were a bit over 100 members from the Netherlands and it is working reasonably well. There are now over 140 members from the Netherlands ... Sounds promising, doesn't it?

Hi Christophe,

It is completely possible. We had a similar petition to open a Dutch board. However, before opening it we would need a French-speaking person who could be responsible for coordinating the board. Also, as the official language of the forum is English, we should try to avoid dispersion of discussions in multi-language boards. In order to do so, whoever takes responsibility of coordinating the board should be also responsible of sharing any valuable contribution in the English boards or in the community documentation.

What do you think? Does it sound reasonable?
