at least in scenario this does not help :-(

Mail is still broken since Samba is not running on secure port (and I cannot find the cert generated while initializing it during setup...)
Good that I made snapshots of my Zentyal boxes before trying to update ;-)

Hi,

auf Anhieb fällt mir da "nur" eine Weiterleitung (Proxy / Reverse Proxy) via bestehendem Webserver ein...

Je nach verwendeter (Hardware)Firewall gibt es da aber elegantere Möglichkeiten (z.B. bei Sophos...)

In der Theorie müsste sich die WebGUI auch auslagern lassen, aber ich bezweifele, dass das mit Zentyal einfach wird...
Ggf. eine dedizierte VM / PC / Server mit einem Linux und eigenständiger SOGo Installation... (bis jetzt noch nicht von mir getestet...)?
Dies erfordert allerdings mehr als Linux-User-Grundkenntnisse (Webserver in die DMZ, absichern, Kommunikation zu internem Netz...); auch sollte man ein Freund von der Konsole sein, und nicht "Windows-üblich" Wert auf "Klickibunti" legen...

Hi,

yes a reinstall of Activesync is possible (commandline), but I doubt that will help...

in 5.0.10 it seems there are some issues (Samba / DNS => Active Directory) and sometimes these issues also make mail and AntiVirus fail :-(

e.g. I have two Zentyal boxes: one working perfect (DHCP and Samba AD) but the other one cannot be patched up-to-date because afterwards the mail module does not get a connection to the local Samba... In these cases it is good to have it on VMs and using Snapshots to have a chance to revert ;-)

The easiest way woud be to setup a new box :-(

I remember there was something regarding selinux, but I dont have a link at hand...
Somehow the connection to the KDC (Kerberos) server (should be your Zentyal box)...

Not that easy to solve...

ok, the resolv.conf seems to be good...

Maybe (cannot test, I am at work atm) you could try the client-hostname without "-" ...

ONLY for testing: could you try to disable the Zentyal firewall and test again?

[I have deactivated it completely, but I have a SoHo-Hardware-Firewall protecting my net ;-) ]

Do you have any other errors / warnings in the syslog?

Did you change the hostname after the initial setup? Ithink I remember that there were some issues when changing the hostname afterwards...

Hi,

I have something similar, but in my case, the mail function is broken after the update :-(
The error messages look quiet the same.

The only hint on my box is, that Samba in not able to "talk" to the local installed Samba (maybe a change in the protocol???)

Where does the Client get its (network) config? Maybe a wrong DNS server in the Client conf?
