hi,
i cant make reveres lookups for my computers...
my subnet ist 192.168.200.0/22, in sylog i see often this:
why cant zentyal create ptr records for my computers?
i think the problem could be the greater subnet (255.255.252.0)? the dhcp ip range ist from 192.168.201.1 - 192.168.202.254

hi,
today i tried upgrad to 3.4 from 3.3 (3.3.10). but it was not succesfull so i go back to 3.3.
after upgrade my clients couldnt get group policies (startmenu, logonscript).
did someone knows what could be the reason?

wir würden gern automatisch im Zentyal User anlegen lassen, wenn ein neuer Mitarbeiter in unserer Personal Datenbank (Mysql) angelegt wird. Gibt es also ein Art API?

hi,
i detect something crazy:
i have such subnet 192.168.200.0/22, so i can give my hosts ip from 192.168.200.1 - 192.168.203.254.
My Zentyal has IP 192.168.200.2
i can reach zentyal from all ip's BUT NOT FROM 192.168.203.200 - 192.168.203.206.
When i deactivate Firewall from Zentyal it will work?
Why did he drop it?

Hi,
we had to change nameserver (DNS) ip for squid. in the stub "/usr/share/zentyal/stubs/squid/squid-external.conf.mas" is a variable "@nameservers".
this variable still hase the old IP, how can i change this?
the variable will be declared in "/usr/lib/perl5/Net/DNS/Resolver/Win32.pm":
but from where comes the "DnsServersList"

i have to install a new zentyal (3.2) because we got new hardware. now i want to import user, groups and gpo. But how?
i cant import a backup file from 3.0, varios failures...
is there a way or did i have to create all new?

i checked when a user is login with "username" at the active directory squid works great, but when with "Username" i get access denied, because in the squid is set "username@domain.local"
did anyone have a idea?

i admin my active directoy user over the windows users and groups mmc. i change the profile path to another server, but after restart of zentyal all settings are back to home and profile path. how can i disable this?

Hello,
i want to do this scenerio:
user "abc" is member of the group "agent", he should only have access to 123.de, nothing more.
it works, but when the user browse another webpage, he gets a pop up to authenticate and after i press escape he gets the zentyal proxy error "cache access denied". but i wont no pop up, only the message "access denied".
can anybody help me?

meine Password Sync funktioniert nich: "2012/01/17 18:01:24 ERROR> pwdsync-server:67 main:: - [ad-pwdsync] Unable to create socket"
Problem ist klar denn auf Port 6677 antwortet nix: "telnet localhost 6677" ergibt "C:\Documents and Settings>telnet localhost 6677
Connecting To localhost...Could not open connection to the host, on port 6677: Connect failed"
Version: zentyal-migration-tool-2.2.exe
Service läuft aber. Was ist das Problem?

i want to use the ldap sync, but it dont work. In frontend o only get this message:
"Zentyal is configured as Windows AD slave and there are no users at the moment. If there are users in your Domain Controller, maybe the synchronization process has failed or has not finished yet. "
where can i find some logs or so, i dont know why this wont work
