Installation and Upgrades / Empty Password - not changeble?

Hallo all,
I'm new in ebox and I want to become some knowledge to use it in its target-market.
On my testinstallation today I would install the actual stable version 1.2-5, but sometimes seems to went wrong.
After some manual actions ist was possible to get the loginsite, but there where no password.
I would change it, but it is not possible, because on the change password dialog ever a errormessage says, that the password would be empty (I've configured german languge, therefore I can't write the whole english message).
Is it now possible to set a new password without new configuration btw new installation?
