Hello,
for example I create two groups in zentyal
group 1 => red
group 2 => blue
In group red I have the users Rick and Rickletta In group blue I take Bert and Bettina.
My problem is that each user is always in the default group __USERS__
But I would like Rich and Rickletta in group red,
Bert and Bettina in group blue AS DEFAULT GROUP
Is that possible?

But my system is very low and I will install or disable all graphic mode (lxdm, X server ...).

And maybe I don't understand everything exactly because of my bad english
Nevertheless, "keep it simple and stupid" I stand by my statement (new system) >= 4GB if possible 64bit, <= 4GB maybe 32bit. All current server CPUs support 64-bit.
I've read about PAE ... I think the days of PAE in new systems are over

32Bit can only adress to around 3,5 GB RAM !

I have to read it twice to understand everything.
But if I really need to change the templates ...
I personally think the solution is not so good.
The clear separation of system templates and individual user files seems a
cleaner solution (e.g. with include lines) -> IMHO
There is still a second option for me:

if you have 4GB RAM or more, then you really have to use 64Bit - I think.
(if you have less than 4GB than maybe 32Bit)
Are there any current true server CPUs that do not support 64bit?
Because I use a server like zentyal without a GUI, I see anyway no disadvantage

And also the include files already exist, but are never changed by the distribution.

Hello,
I can't find a suitabel answer.
Last week I worked half a day on an individual logon script. I do it in the file:
/home/samba/netlogon/zentyal-logon.bat
Today I see that all the work is gone! (I work with a new zentyal 2.2)
Now I realize that any change in the web frontend results in both, the line in the smb.conf 'logon script = zentyal-logon.bat" as well as the script "zentyal-logon.bat" even written back :-((
How / where or by what name do I have to create my own custom logon scripts?
For my own individual logon scripts? Which after the next updates still remain.
That is my question

In the file /etc/rc.local you have to comment out the line with "zentyal-lxdm"
for me it works:

There ist also a Domain Name (I am using always and everywhere the same) => "firma.lan"
2: In the Infrastructure Menu under DNS
Now I've created a domain. "firma.lan" withe the IP of the zentyal server (172.21.8.3)

firma.lan 172.21.8.3 no
Under the point Hosts => there I can add my local hostnames and their IPsNow here is a host "ns" with the IP of the zentyal server (172.21.8.3)
3:
Under the point DHCP in "Search in Domain" now I choose the new Zntyal domain "firma.lan"
4:
Under Office - File Share (I have the German version ;-)
Also the same Domain name "firma.lan"
That's it.
Is that about right?
EDIT:
And one more question:
I give the new Domain the real IP address 172.21.8.3 from the zentyal-server.
Is it a better idea instead to work with the localhost address => 127.0.0.1?
