Hi all,
An updated version of Zentyal Server is coming next October 22th. It will come with all the latest updates from Ubuntu 14.04.3. As a starred feature, it will integrate Samba 4.3, with lots of improvements for Active Directory services and support for Windows 8.1 and the newest Windows 10.
Apart from that, the release is focused on bugfixing and improvements of the Outlook-compatible Mail & Groupware Exchange replacement. The supported features are:
- Improved stability and scalability
- No plugins nor connectors needed client-side
- Support for Microsoft Outlook® 2007 and 2010
- Server settings autodiscover
- Autorefresh and desktop notifications (commercial version only)
- Outlook® Anywhere HTTPS access
- Global address list
- Out of Office
- ActiveSync support for mobile devices
- Web access: mail, calendars and contacts
- Standard mail protocols: IMAPS, POP3S, SMTPS, CalDav.
And all the current modules and feautures you already know from Zentyal 4.1.
Stay tuned for the official announcement and full changelog!

I take it this is based on Ubuntu Server 15.04 which has an EOL in jan 2016 (in 3 months time)

"It will come with all the latest updates from Ubuntu 14.04.3", Zentyal is always based on LTS.

Not that I'm complaining but most of the stuff you listed is already in Zentyal - even 3.5 for the most part. I'm personally a MS Partner with an Action Pack, so I've been using Outlook 2016 with Zentyal 4.0 for a minute or two now.
It seems to me that Zentyal is better than you're letting on is all I'm saying, can't wait to update to 4.2!!!

Forgive me my absense, but did the policy change again to only use LTS again?
