Installation and Upgrades / LDAP Error... Plz Help!
« on: May 13, 2011, 09:17:07 pm »
Hi guys,
Well, i had to re-install all my modules... so i did "sudo apt-get remove --purge ebox-*"
Then, "sudo apt-get install ebox-all"
but now, when i try to enable some modules, i get the error:

Failed to enable: root command /etc/init.d/slapd start failed. Error output: Command output: Starting OpenLDAP: slapd - failed. The operation failed but no output was produced. For hints on what went wrong please refer to the system's logfiles (e.g. /var/log/syslog) or try running the daemon in Debug mode like via "slapd -d 16383" (warning: this will create copious output). Below, you can find the command line options used by this script to run slapd. Do not forget to specify those options if you want to look to debugging output: slapd -h 'ldap:/// ldapi:/// ldaps:///' -g openldap -u openldap -F /etc/ldap/slapd.d/ . Exit value: 1

What can i do please?

Best regards

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Can't enable DHCP
« on: June 01, 2010, 10:51:43 pm »
I found the problem. When i start the module, it cleans my /etc/default/dhcp3-server config.
I've removed the module and installed dhcp3-server mannualy and configured it.. it's working now, i think... At least until the next restart.

Installation and Upgrades / Can't enable DHCP
« on: June 01, 2010, 09:16:29 pm »
Hi guys,

Well, i've changed my ethernet adapter, so it reconised the new one as "eth0_rename"
And so i can't start my DHCP server. Everything else is working well.

I've already tried to remove --purge ebox-dhcp, and install again, but no luck.
Does anyone know how can i fix it?

Hi guys,

I've installed Ebox 1.4, and it's running so smoothly. But sometimes, afeter some hours, web navigation begins to be slow. Does anyone knows what it could be?
I think that it may be a dns problem...

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

I'm amazed with your truly good job with this project.
I'm using ubuntu server 10.04 (lucid) and i've done like i read on the tutorial, and it was installed correctly.
My only problem is that some modules are disabled and i can't enable it. I can't check the module.
