Now there's no way to make eBox work on bridge mode, so if you want to keep your router working as firewall-dhcp-dns you could use eBox as a proxy/content filter but not in transparent mode.


So what you saying is that to use it as a proxy i wll have to place a firewall behind a firewall, and the INSIDE an OUTSIDE interface will have to be on a differnt subnets?

I already have a firewall-router-DHCP-DNS device.  All I need is a web proxy/content filtering device.  Can EBOX run in this mode only?  If yes, what are the configuration steps.
