Directory and Authentication / password changes not taking effect

I am changing user passwords on my Zentyal server that is configured as "Additional domain controller" but the password changes do not take affect. Its says "user updated" but user can still login with the old password and the new one does not work. 
Any ideas?

Installation and Upgrades / deleted Admin user now I can't connect

I have a Zentyal lab and I deleted my admin account used to setup Zentyal. After I created a new admin account under general configuration.
For whatever reason I cannot login to the Zentyal dashboard with either account. How can I reset it? Also, how is it that it let me delete the Admin Account? No warning or anything. I deleted the only admin account before adding the new one. Strange.
In any case, I have console access but no SUDO or root and can't login into the dashboard. Any ideas?
