newbie question... I set up my ebox as a file server without the PDC setting. How do I tell my Ubuntu desktop to connect? I can see the ebox in the network browser; but I can't see the actual files that I have copied into the share I created. In fact, I can't see one of the shares I created either. I gave myself permission to access each folder. Am I missing something or have I just been sloppy and typed something incorrectly?

In the Connect to Server dialog, what settings should I use?
Service Type: Windows share?
Domain Name? Group Name?

Thanks in advance.

Installation and Upgrades / can't view shares or add new ones
« on: December 18, 2008, 07:30:31 pm »
I just installed ebox and enabled the following modules: network, users and groups, ntp, file sharing, and logs. When I click on File Sharing, I have no option to view shares or add shares. What am I missing or forgetting. I see lots of references to File Sharing > Shares; but how do I access it? My File Sharing Page only shows general settings with no sub menus - see screenshot.

Thanks in advance.
