Other modules / DHCP Failover

Hi all,
Currently We are using zentyal 4.2.2 edition and currently we don't have plans to upgrade 5.0. We are working on DHCP failover, we have DC and ADC running on Zentyal same version and DHCP same version (ISC).
As per the dhcpd.conf man page we made changes to dhcp configuration file in both DC && ADC but after reboot the changes we made to the configuration file was removed automatically.
Have anyone done this before?
