Confirmed my Outlook 2007 I can set under advanced send/recieve to 1min and the mails are delivered but with "Unknow Error". In 2010 i just never arrived unless you click Update Folder. As for Active Sync I got it to work and tested it on my Android phone.

If I understand you correctly, you want one server as just your AD/DNS etc and then antoher as your exchange?
OK first setup 2 servers with diffirent names but on the same subnet. Then promot your one server to domain controller. your secodn server you will have to join to the domain via the DNS setup - strange eh?
The second server add the openchange modules etc and it will start syncing the AD from the 1st server.
That should do it.
