Installation and Upgrades / Faster viewing of logs
« on: February 22, 2008, 03:27:03 pm »
Good morning,
Something i have noticed is that when I try to view my proxy logs through the log query interface in ebox, it takes forever to log 15 tables. When i say forever i mean 3-5 min.
The logs are purged every 3 days.

Installation and Upgrades / Proxy Question
« on: January 17, 2008, 06:17:57 pm »
Wow my third question about the proxy services.
First id like to say your product is awesome.
I have a suggestion/question
How could I make it so during a certain time of the day the proxy would be turned off so users can access any website they would like?
I was thinking doing a cron job would probably be the best but not sure what command to run.
Could someone please help me out ?
Thank you very much

Installation and Upgrades / Exporting the Proxy log's
« on: January 16, 2008, 10:46:21 pm »
Good Afternoon,
I am currently trying to check the logs for the squid proxy server but there are over 5000 pages and it takes about 5-15 min for it to load the log page.
Is there a way I can export it so it will show me the time/date | which host | and url trying to be access?
at the moment im using the file from /var/log/dansguardian/access.log but they do not display a time. Is there a way to make it display the time ?
