Installation and Upgrades / Re: Is there a way to turn on op-locking on fileshare?
« on: July 10, 2008, 04:30:28 pm »
I worked a bit more on this.
Seems it is nautilus
if I go through windows or use the fstab to mount this it all works ie locking etc.

Installation and Upgrades / Making Fileshare / Samba work not on only local device
« on: July 10, 2008, 03:16:19 pm »
Maybe I messed up on the install ie install Hardy then add Ebox to repository and install.
But samba only worked on the localhost.
The lines in samba.conf that caused this are
So I
cd /usr/share/ebox
then
nano stubs/samba/smb.conf.mas
And changed
bind interfaces only = Yes
to
bind interfaces only = No
Then I changed a setting in Ebox web interface to cause it to restart this service and update the main file.
Thought this may help.
Thanks
