Installation and Upgrades / Zentyal 5.1.3 - Kernel Panic after system update ...

Hello all,

I am installing a 5.1 box (VM in ESXi 6.5). the Main installation is fine. Then I update the Zentyal package to 5.1.3 without any issue.

the final step is to apply system update. The update happens correctly but when I reboot the box, the new Kernel does not boot and stop on "Kernel panic - not syncing : VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)".

Can anyone help on this ?

Directory and Authentication / Samba DC backup

Hello all,

I am running a Zentyal 5.1 as a standalone Domain Controler for a small organization. To ensure Disaster recovery, we have a second server ready for replacement (same configuration).

I would like to know:
 - When using Zentyal built-in backup feature, is the content of the domain (Computer account, etc.) saved or not ?
- If not, how to backup the Domain and be able to restore it (on my second server) ? is there any existing tools from Samba for example ?
