Is it possible with Zentyal to configure a local e-mail address as an alias to an external e-mail address?

Thank you very much!

Installation and Upgrades / Group email in a Zarafa folder
« on: February 06, 2012, 03:17:56 pm »
Hi.

I created some users and groups, and I assigned an email address to each group.
Now every user in the group is correctly receiving emails to that address, but all messages are delivered in the Inbox folder.
I used Zarafa mail filters to make a rule to move that messages to a separate folder, but this trick does not work if the address is in BCC.
So I'm thinking about Zarafa dagent, which is called by Postfix during the receipt of an email message.

Do you know a way to configure it to deliver a mail in a Zarafa folder?

Thank you very much,
bye.

Installation and Upgrades / Variables in .mas files
« on: December 22, 2011, 01:16:30 pm »
Hi.

I wish to configure username and password in MySQL Zarafa database, so I looked at the /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/zarafa/server.cfg.mas file, but I realized that the mysql_user and mysql_password configuration variables are setted as two Zentyal variables <% $mysql_user %> and <% $mysql_password %>.

I wish to keep them in the .mas file instead of replacing them with some fixed values, but I searched them in the whole system and I didn't found any place where to configure them.

Could you help me please?

Thank you very much!
Bye.

Hi.
Is it possible to have a slave DHCP/DNS server (with Zentyal or plain Ubuntu) for a master DHCP/DNS Zentyal server?

Hi.

I know that users can configure their fetchmail settings through their users web interface.
But can administrators configure fetchmail settings for users using the web interface?

Installation and Upgrades / .mas files
« on: April 13, 2011, 01:53:39 pm »
Hi.

I'm looking into Zantyal files and I saw some .mas files, for example /usr/share/ebox/stubs/zarafa/server.cfg.mas.

I see some variables:

Code: [Select]
<%args>
  $server_bind
  $hostname
  $mysql_user
  $mysql_password
  $attachment_storage
  $attachment_path
  $quota_warn
  $quota_soft
  $quota_hard
  $indexer
</%args>

whick are references in the configuration file:

Code: [Select]
server_bind             = <% $server_bind %>

but I didn't find where these variables can be setted.

Could you explain me it please?

Thank you very much!
Bye.

Installation and Upgrades / Migrate from an existing Debian server
« on: December 01, 2010, 10:18:27 pm »
Hi.
I'm planning to migrate my existing Debian server to Zentyal.
I will need to migrate about 30 Samba users that are now stored in a pdbedit database (not LDAP), and I don't want to re-join all clients to the Samba's domain.

Could you help me please?
Thank you very much!
Bye.

Hi.
I read on your developer guide that I can customize the eBox web template using Mason.
I wish to analyze the default eBox template to learn how it is writed.
But in what directory I can found it?

Thank you very much!

Installation and Upgrades / Re: eBox installation on Debian Etch
« on: February 05, 2008, 12:42:38 am »
We don't have packages for Debian Etch. If you want to install eBox on Etch because you need a recent kernel take a look at this how-to which will instruct you how to install Debian Sarge and eBox using new kernels.
http://trac.ebox-platform.com/wiki/Document/FAQ/HowToInstallWithNewKernels
I cannot use Debian Sarge because of its old packages.
Isn't there a way to install eBox (manually too) on Debian Etch?

Bye and thanks!

Installation and Upgrades / Fresh Debian Etch (stable) installation
« on: February 04, 2008, 10:02:06 pm »
I installed eBox with "apt-get install ebox" using the eBox Debian repositories on a fresh Debian Etch (stable) installation, but when I run "/etc/init.d/ebox start" I get this error:

Code: [Select]
ebox:/etc/apache-perl# /etc/init.d/ebox start
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/auto/Gnome2/GConf/GConf.so: undefined symbol: gconf_unset_flags_get_type

What's the problem?

Another question is if is it possible to have eBox running on the existing Apache2 installation running with the www-data user and group, without running another Apache instance (I realized that eBox uses Apache 1.3, isn't it possible to use Apache2?).

Thank you very much for your help!
Bye.

Installation and Upgrades / Fetchmail
« on: February 04, 2008, 07:35:57 pm »
Hi.
What do you think about a fetchmail module for eBox?
I think it would be very nice because fetchmail is used on many mail servers.
