I have an internal Zentyal Server 4.0 with the domain name server.zentyal.lan. The Zentyal server itself does not impose mail addresses for external use. It is provided in the internal network only for the management of external mail addresses from the users. These external mail addresses (eg user1@gmx.de, user1@hotmail.com etc.) should be collected with fetchmail and assigned to a user in the Zentyal server. At this external mail addresses also mail should be sent.

Can I set up in Zentyal, that the external mail-adresses (eg user1@hotmail.com) to the external domain (Hotmail server) to be delivered. If so, how do I do that? I do not get along with the description.

thanks

Installation and Upgrades / zentyal 3.3.4 with outlook 2013 and IMAP
« on: February 12, 2014, 08:56:08 am »
How can I use Zentyal 3.3.4 (Dovecot) with Outlook 2013 (german) over IMAP with the default folders?
If I create a new IMAP - Account in Outlook 2013 two folders are created in den maildir from the user.

./Gesendete Elemente
./Gel&APY-schte Elemente (=Gelöschte Elemente)

I create the file /etc/dovecot/conf.d/15-mailboxes.conf with

mailbox "Gesendete Objekte" {
        special_use = \Sent
        auto=subscribe
}
mailbox "Gelöschte Objekte" {
......

nothing helps.

German / [gelöst] Anlegen eines Users - Problem und Frage dazu
« on: December 16, 2013, 02:04:47 pm »

Danke

After I start in Dashborad the Module "NTP" (green button) I can see the message "The module was restarted correctly". But the button is still green.

Installation and Upgrades / loggerd - HIGH CPU
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:45:55 am »
Hello!

I use Zentyal 3.0 as a KVM - Client in PROXMOX 2.2 (www.proxmox.com) with 2 GByte RAM.
Because the cpu load was very high, I have zentyal on Friday restarted in the morning.
after two days, the CPU load is increased again.
I've found with htop that the burden of

/ usr / share / zentyal / loggerd

proceeds.

I have installed all updates.

What can I do?

I want to solve the following situation with Zentyal:
Zentyal will be taking over an internal network's mail management. Zentyal is behind a firewall and is not a separate mail server with a domain name to be.

Zentyal is like to manage multiple e-mail addresses, while the mails at the respective POP3 account with fetchmail.

Example: user1@gmx.net from extern to -> user1@local.domain intern

Furthermore, it should be possible to send mails from Zentyal via webmail or client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) as an external user (eg user1@gmx.net).

Can I realize my desires with Zentyal? If so, how and what I need to adjust where please? I have already made several attempts but I always failed because the mails with Zentyal not Fear is an alias user.

I found  the follow lines in /var/log/zentyal/mail.log

NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[192.168.1.1]: 553 5.7.1 <bbb@gmx.at>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user aaa@local-domain; from=<bbb@gmx.at> to=<irgendwas@mail.adresse> proto=ESMTP helo=<[192.168.1.2]>

Thanks for the help and advice

« on: September 14, 2012, 05:59:13 pm »

Danke

German / [gelöst] IMAP / IMAPs login nicht möglich
« on: September 10, 2012, 04:41:12 pm »

Was läuft da falsch?
Wie mache ich es richtig?

Bald gebe ich auf.  :-\

German / Fetchmail - zentrale Einstellung
« on: May 31, 2012, 11:04:58 am »
Dies erscheint mir sehr praktisch.

Gruß und danke
