I have a new install of Zentyal 4.1 on Ubuntu 14.04.  In that install I connected the new server as an additional domain controller in a Windows 2003 domain environment.  I have setup the appropriate DNS, file sharing, mail, and OpenChange with ActiveSync.  Everything went smoothly until I tried to connect to the new server using Outlook.  Originally it connected just fine.  Then I tried to import a PST file for one of our accounts from our previous email server, which was Exchange on Windows 2003 SBS.  It started out just fine.  Unfortunately, partway through this import the process froze.  From that point on whenever I tried to connect with Outlook the server would initially connect to the server but say that it was Waiting for Update in the status bar of Outlook.  After about 30 seconds of this, a popup window would appear asking for my password for this account.  After entering it, I would immediately be prompted with another popup window asking for the same information and this would continue without letting me into Outlook again.  I am able to get mail on this account through the web interface but no new mail has come in through the Outlook interface.  I also noticed that only some of the emails and folder structure was imported, and I couldn't find any calendar information imported.

I was also getting a Samba crash report on the Zentyal Dashboard screen whenever I rebooted the new server.  I submitted these crash reports.  Since the updates that came out for Zentyal yesterday, I have no longer had these crash issues when this server is rebooted, so that issue has gone away.

Also, since the updates yesterday, Outlook no longer tries to connect for 30 seconds when it is first turned on.  It immediately opens up the popup window asking for my password for this account, and continues to ask without connecting to the server.  This has happened on both Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 with two different email accounts, one with a lot of emails and calendar entries, and another with a small amount of emails and calendar entries.  I have also never been able to get ActiveSync with an Android device that I did originally have connected to the previous Exchange server to work but I'm guessing that this may be the same issue with the connectivity through Outlook.

This is a production machine.  In the course of testing and getting this server ready for production, our Exchange server went down, and the schedule was moved up to get the new server into place.  Besides the Outlook and ActiveSync issues, the transition has gone very smoothly, so thank you to the Zentyal team for having such a good product.  I was really struggling when I was trying to get all these pieces to work smoothly without Zentyal.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure where to look for information on what is causing the problems we're experiencing.  I've looked through all the log files that I could find trying to determine the issue but I'm not finding anything that is standing out as the culprit to the problem.  If someone could advise me on which log file to check on this issue I would appreciate it.  I'd also appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you.

Todd
