Title: Did Something Change? Cannot Enable HTTP Proxy
Post by: dclake on May 01, 2015, 04:52:16 am
Hi all,

I am getting this error when trying to enable the HTTP proxy.

Failed to enable: To enable the HTTP proxy module, you need to have a least one external network interface

I could have enabled this on older versions but not on 4.0 it seems.

The problem is that the Squid Package changed from 4.0 to 4.0.1. That version "needs" two interfaces (I don't know why...).

Download zentyal-squid (you can find it in one of the answers), install with dpkg -i and it's done!

Thanks

That solution is for Zentyal 4. Today we are at 6.2. Is there a way to use Zentyal HTTP proxy with just 1 internal interface?
