Spanish / Error al instalar el módulo zentyal-samba 3.0.6
« on: October 29, 2012, 06:31:00 pm »

I had tried the forwarder but without success.

Thanks.

Gracias.

I have an AD structure with several sites and subnets.

In principle one of the two internal DNS would be sufficient, but for the redundancy placed another

I do not know how to perform in Zentyal you mention the subject to

"Did you try to use forwarder first, forwarding to these DNS ?

Thanks for the support and interesting.

I tried to do what he says, but without success. Possibly not knowing interpret what you say

At Core->Network->DNS, have the DNS showed at the screenshoot. The second and third are internal DNS and the other are DNS's Google.

I tried with transparent proxy and with not transparent proxy. Neither option worked.

I eventually got the goal, but not the way I wanted.

I had to modify the / etc / hosts and deal directly with the ips of the domains and subdomains mydomain.com to access them correctly through the proxy.

Thank you very much for all the trouble

Ok, about the merge of the two posts.

Do not quite understand the answer. I'm a Spanish user, and my English is basic. Can you tell me based on the screenshots, in what menu options Zentyal configuration, I have to change something?

Core -> Network ?

Infrastructure -> DNS?

Staking the question because I think I did very adequately in the other post.

I mounted a Zentyal 3.0

The issue is that the proxy works fine except when I try to access www.midominio.com or subdomains thereof, whose domain is the one I have in AD.

I had mounted a proxy version 2.2 and did not have this problem. I think the issue is that at the level of modules, the module-dependent Proxy and Firewall users and groups, and the users and groups depends in turn on-DNS and NTP-

The case is now Zentyal to be operating the Proxy module, you install the DNS module, and I think that's where the problem lies.

In DNS settings, I have the AD domain that I have in the company, and I think when you search the proxy, interprets the location is internal and not have to search it out, and therefore not accessible.

The web page midominio.com is in a external hosting.

My question is how to tell Zentyal, that accesses the searching www.midominio.com abroad and not internally.

Annex two screenshots below the entry created in Infrastructure-> DNS, and one with the error I get when I try to go to the corporate site.

I hope I have made clear the query.

regards

He montado un Zentyal 3.0

Gracias..

The squid log of the problem is the next:

GET 23,740 TCP_MISS/503 http://media.mydomain.com

And I guess that is the problem of name matching between the domain name of the AD, created in Infrastructure-> DNS and a domain hosted on external hosting, but it's not sure.

I don't know where to do the next. I don't see the option at Infrastructure->DNS

Quote
- or you describe external servers in Zentyal DNS

I attached a file with that error I obtain at several links, when I enter the domain mydomain.com, that`s the same of Active Directory domain, and of the Infrastructure->DNS

Thanks to the problem support

This is qa bit clearer now. Let me rephrase it:
you are using same domain name for internal and external domain. Because of this, what you describe in Zentyal DNS covers internal machines but does not cover external ones. Am I correct ?

It's absolutaly correct

Quote
So you have 2 choices:
- either you change internal domain name for something different
- or you describe external servers in Zentyal DNS

With the first choice there is a problem. If you see the attached file, the domain isn't possible to change. Not allowed to change or to delete.

And with the second choice, i aren't sure about if you mean at Network-> DNS and there to add the external DNS -I attached file about it- or it's other thing.

I try this last option and the result is the same.

Clearly, I had to explain very badly, to create so much confusion.

Sorry.

The problem only occurs in Zentyal 3.0, I have another proxy with Zentyal 2.2 and does not occur.

This is because in Zentyal 3.0 Proxy module depends on the Users and Groups, and this in turn the DNS, which has not happened in Zentyal 2.2

The problem is that in Infrastructure->DNS,  I have mydomain.com and that domain, I can not access to navigate, which is in an external hosting.

To the other domains haven't problems, only at the domain to appear Infrastructure->DNS

Thanks in advance.

I try to clarify the issue somewhat.
When I put dominio_grupo, I mean not a real address, but to my company's corporate governance

The problem is that in Infrastructure-> DNS, I have assigned the DNS domain, and I think it makes the search internally.

I attached image of the DNS configuration where is added automatically and is the domain to which I have no access from the proxy.

I added the proxy exclusion, but to no avail.

Thanks in advance...

Hi.

I have a problem with the access of the corporate web page.

In the file / var/log/squid3/access.log observe the following type lines that I believe show me a picture blocks access to a certain group companies websites:

GET 23,740 TCP_MISS/503 http://media.dominio_grupo.com

I think I get one of these errors in the log, for each resource to which access attempts and fails.

The issue is that the graphics capabilities of the companies websites, make references to a subdomain of the group's corporate website.

That is www.empresa1.com has graphic content that call media.dominio_grupo.com

And the issue is that when loading the DNS, domain appears to me: dominio_grupo.com

Overall I think it is trying to access internally and not go out to search the contents of media.dominio_grupo.com

Or put more simply, since I can not access proxy www.dominio_grupo.com that I have posted on an external host.

How I can force to try to leave it out to access the site in question, whose name matches the domain defined in the DNS?

I hope I explained.
