Other modules / DNS doesn't work via shell

I have Zentyal 6 installed on my server.
Between the various modules I have these turned on:
- dns
- Domain controller and file sharing
- network

and these turned off:
- dhcp.

I have set up my dns server like a transparent dns (and I don't know why i can't switch it off).

If I connect via ssh to Zentyal none dns hostname are resolved.

My resolv.conf contain:
nameserver 127.0.0.1
search DOMAINNAME.com

I have tried to change it with specific dns server, but it doesn't work.

I add that the system works good until around 1 month ago and no changes are been applied.

My labs client have no problem with dns request.

This problem is tedious because lock me every system update...


Any idea?

Hi,

I have installed a Zentyal 4.2. I have configured a Domain with almost 2000 users. I need to force every users to change their password during next login. But I haven't found an option in the Zentyal frontend to do this.

There is a way to realize this task?

Installation and Upgrades / user to manage users domain

Hi,

I need to create an admin-user that are able to only manage (add, remove, modify,...) users belong to domain. I want that all other features (all other configuration options like dns, dhcp, file shares, ...) are hidden to this admin-user.

There is a way to do it?
