Hi,

If you are using Zentyal 6.2 or 7.0, run the following script to get a system report and pay special attention to the Domain controller output:

sudo /usr/share/zentyal/smart-admin-report

NOTE: If you want to post the output here, make sure that your rename the sensitive information that the report might have.

However, according to the output, it seems that you do not have any additional domain controller in your environment.

Hi,

In the file browser, do you use the domain name or the FQDN? Below is an example:

## For personal folder
\\zentyal.mydomain.lan\trashman\

## For share folder
\\zentyal.mydomain.lan\devops\

Also, try to create a new share folder but use the default location (Directory under Zentyal), then set 'write-read' permissions to the domain user. And check if it works. If it does, the issue is with the additional disk. Provide us with all the details you can so we can check them out. For instance:

* The content of '/etc/fstab' related to that disk.
* The permissions of the mount point

* Two images with the share configuration in Zentyal (configuration itself and the permissions)

i have tried this 7.0 version but not able to install completely.
there was issue with webadmin module saving. it was shucked there.
i have facing multiple time this issue please help me out.

There is an open issue on Github, below you have the link. Aparently, it happens when you install several modules during the initial configuration wizard. Try to install Zentyal again but this time, only install the firewall module in the initial configuration wizard.

Hi,

Unfortunately, yes, I had a similar issue with OpenVPN module. My issue was caused by the 'expiration' of the CRL, and because of that, the VPN connection did not work. The message was the following:

Sun May  3 12:11:13 2020 41.56.2.24:60271 VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=CRL has expired: C=ZA, ST=Free

Basically, I have to do something with any certificate in thirty days max such as create or remove a certificate, otherwise, a VPN connection may stop working.

Hi,

You have two options:

1. Install and configure the OpenVPN module, so the domain users can connect through VPN to the Zentyal server and then access their personal resources.
2. Create a rule in the firewall that allows certain IP addresses to the Domain Controller module.

The best option by far is the first one, but if you do not want to use another module and you do not bother to change the public IP of your clients constantly, it should work as well but it is not as safer as the first option.

Sí, sin problemas. Abajo tienes el enlace a la documentación donde se indica la ubicación de los stubs disponibles donde se puede configurar un certificado expedido por una CA reconocida como GoDaddy.

It is confirmed. The expired key is no longer in your Zentyal server, but either the new one.

You need to run the following command and make sure it did not show any error, if it gives you any kind of error, post the trace. If everything was okay apparently, check again the available repository keys and try to fetch the repository packages.

sudo apt update

If it keeps not working you will need to contact Zentyal (sales@zentyal.com) and explain your current situation.

Hi,

First of all, you must ensure that your Zentyal server can resolve external domains like 'google.es'.

Second, keep in mind that if the license key was already activated in the past, you cannot use it again without contacting Zentyal.

In case you still have an issue, you must contact 'sales@zentyal.com' and provide them your license key and the error you get.

Unfortunately, those messages are useless to identify the issue. Did you check the rest of the log file? And what about the log file '/var/log/mail.err'? or even the log file /var/log/syslog.

That's strange behavior, the debug mode only prints every step, that's all. Anyway, it worked.

Regarding the spelling, the forum is checked by Zentyal staff every day, so they will fix it as soon as they see it.

According to the output, you don't have any commercial key. after removing the expired key, did you import the new one?
