I can concur with the Antivirus Module causing the slow response of the Web Admin Interface.

I disabled it and everything is snappy again!

I don't know if it's related but from time to time I have to clear out my /boot partition as it gets full.
In this instance it was 98% full. Had to do an apt-get autoremove to get things cleared out. I just mention this because it happened at the same time as the slow responsiveness of the Web Interface.

Hope it's of some help to anyone, I know this thread pointed me in the right direction. Many Thanks! Peace! :o

I've got the same problem.

I looked in my dhcpd.conf and there were listings for objects which I deleted ages ago.

I need to get rid of objc10 from a database or something as it doesn't appear in the webadmin. Redis or MySQL?

UPDATE: Ok I thought I had a handle on the situation. I had a network object removed but was still appearing under the fixed addresses as objc10.
I've removed the objc10 from the fixed addresses list and it saved OK. I'm was fairly confident this would resolve the breaking of the DHCP on startup, which in turn broke the DNS and File sharing, but it didn't.

I think I need to get into the MySQL and find the rouge entry and delete it. Can anyone shed some light on where network objects may be stored?

My only other option if I can't figure this out is to promote my BDC and transfer roaming profiles etc..

I'm seeing a lot of (check_reduced_name) entries in the samba.log

Looked into the Samba Bug 7409 and checked my log level wasn't too low. Was on 3 and still getting the problem.

One thing I can think of was when I upgraded the Antivirus was in operation but was removed in the upgrade process.
I did see it was available in the software components so I might add it again and see how things go.

UPDATE: Installed the Antivirus module and now zentyal mondules wont start on startup. Antivirus, DNS, NTP and Domain Controller and File Sharing. Network seems operational along with DCHP - will test further otherwise I'm faced with rolling back to 3.2

Has anyone downgraded from the most current one or have they just rolled back a backup or reinstalled Zentyal?

This is a strange one, I've recently upgraded from Zentyal 3.2 up to the most current 4.1.0.10

Opening and Saving files takes noticeably longer. Likewise some accounts take a while to browse their home directories. (see attachment) The Strange thing is that my Administrator account doesn't seem to be as affected as regular accounts.

It's like it's trying to authenticate when ever it's trying to do something on the server.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

I'm just wondering if the problem is with my Cisco SG-500 Switches cause the Zentyal Server seems to be running fine otherwise?
