Title: Zentyal and Windows
Post by: zoolkeeper on November 11, 2010, 10:23:45 pm
Hi

I have just taken over a Windows 2000 domain and have installed Zentyal as a new domain controller. All the Windows 2000 machines login and work perfectly

What we want to do is in slow time replace all the window machines with linux ones.

My question is, is it possible to login to both Windows and Linux using the same Domain usernames and keep the Zentyal server as the logon server.

If it is possible, the users logon script under linux would have to remote mount the samba shares.

I believe Zentyal Desktop for Ubuntu may offer what you're describing.
