Spanish / Conexión VPN se pierde de manera extraña

Hola muchas gracias por todo de adelanto, tengo el siguiente problema que creo que es un posible bug, Tengo dos redes conectadas por vpn, en una de ellas cuando intento acceder al panel de ebox se pierde toda conectividad con el, se rompe la vpn y se reinicia. Actualmente es el quien hace de cliente (yo un ebox 1.2 y el un 1.4). Es algo inquietante pues si mantienes un ping no hay ningún corte, tambien decir que la conexión se reinicia por inactivity time out de vez en cuando (y eso que tcp) pero si mantengo dos ping abiertos uno por el tunel y otro al switch solo se cae el del tunel.

Hola,

gracias por la contestación, la cuestión es quería que fuera trasparente, es decir que mi servidor de correo no haya que tocarlo, actualmente uso fortigate para este asunto y trabaja de esta manera, si miras assp veras que funciona de igual manera.

Hola, como siempre muchas gracias por EBox.

Tengo una necesidad y es que tengo un servidor de correo(Exchange) detrás de ebox, la cuestión es que quería saber si ebox puede trabajar como smtp proxy trasparente (para analizar spam y virus) y entregárselo a exchange. Se que se puede hacer con ASSP pero quería saber si se puede con EBox pues la documentación pone que es SMTP Proxy.

well, I 've been searching information, my problem is related to have two physicals networks in the same network, all networks in the same switch with communicate with other switch. The problem happens because the broadcast is the same for all networks, there is here the big problem.

I solve the problem with vlans or different physicals networks.

Están separadas físicamente, a ver si así se ve bien:

clientes1------switch1----------swich2-------------eth0 |        |
clientes2-------|                             |-------------- eth2 |ebox |
clientes3-------|                             |---------------eth3 |        |


un swich1 recibe todas las conexiones de red de las diferentes redes, este se lo envia todo por fibra a otro que conecta varios cables a las diferentes interfaces de ebox, el problema es que en la interfaz eth0 recibe paquetes que deben llegar a la eth3.

Espero que este diagrama se entienda mejor, lo único con tu explicación que seme ocurre es que tengo que tener una red física por swich, y tener que usar vlans.

the same here, I detect that the firewall get packets from other network, for example if eth0 have ip 192.168.1.1 get packets from 10.223.1.1 network and drops, if you make ping to the ebox the problem fix it and there are no more packets to the wrong interface. Revise your firewall logs if is the same problem.

Hola,

Tengo una maquina ebox con mutiples interfaces, una de ellas a una red 192.168.1.x y otra a 10.223.1.x. El problema es que aveces me llegan a la interfaz 10.223 paquetes de la 192.168, que se ve por los logs del firewall que los dropea por una regla (llega a eth0 un paquete que es de eth3), cuando ocurre eso los usuarios no pueden navegar lo cual es muy molesto, y haciendo un simple ping se soluciona el asunto como si encaminara bien todo denuevo.

mi esquema es este:

Clientes ----------switch------------switch--192---ebox-------internet

I have the same problem, I check the firewall logs and i see that it's blocking the packets, if only ping a outgoing connection or the ebox ip it works. I like if you have active connections there aren't any problem but if you have some inactivity. I make the change proposed in this thread, if it works I communicate it here.

thanks it works, i have to wait and reboot the ebox service but it works.
There is another problem, in the "Summarized report " when change the page of the values return a error page:

"we're sorry
The page cannot be found "

This is always happen.

What eBox version are you using and which one was the one that you installed originally?

originally I installed 1.2 and now I have 1.2.1, I load a backup (complete backup) from other ebox machine that I change to this new machine, the original machine was 1.2

I think this problem cause other problems in log section, when show graphics in the logs I can't change the page, and I have a error, and I can see logs from two moths ago.
