Installation and Upgrades / Problems with GB ETH using (realtek 8169) on ebox 0.11

Hi guys,
I am using ebox iso 0.11 and I am having trouble with my GB NIC based on realtek 8169.
ifconfig shows a very strange MAC address, much longer than usual.
To confirm that the card is working I tried with an debian ETCH (no ebox) and the NIC works great.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
