Hello

You have to try to connect from a second computer that is on the same network then you eBox. Like sixstone said: "from other host".

Hello

By saying "map network drives" did you mean you where trying to connect to Samba shares created with Ebox?

If you add "allow all" rule to your firewall "Filtering rules from external networks to internal networks" section, wouldn't it make you network very vulnerable?

Hi

When I tested the mail module on Ebox some months ago I was also running into problems. If I remember correctly then it was that I used username like "user1" but should have used "user1@domail.com" on the e-mail client in the account settings.

Hope this helps.

Click on "Or you can add an exception…" and add the exception by confirming it.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Not to synchronize profiles

Thanks!
Replacing  logon path = " "  with  logon path =  helped me to resolve the problem with the popup windows which appear when roaming profiles are changed from enable to disable in the File sharing module.

Although I did the replacement in "/usr/share/ebox/stubs/samba/smb.conf.mas" and then restarted Samba. As I understand Ebox holds its copy of Samba configuration in that directory and writes over the /etc/samba/smb.conf every time Samba is restarted therefore undoing the changes made.
