clueless ....

2 from 3 zentyal server - allways lost connect to zentyal cloud... in the logfiles of the affected servers came the msg:
(this 2 server stand NOT on the same place/network/ISP !!)

what can i do for a stable connect to the zentyal cloud

German / error : The following modules are not running but they are enabled: Groupware

So, dann nochmal hier,
Ich hab da mal ein paar Fragen zu den Logfiles!

ich bekomme die "Fehlermeldung" -> error : The following modules are not running but they are enabled: Groupware
Ich lese diese Fehlermeldung via Thunderbird mit IMAP Zugriff auf das Zarafa "Postfach".
Ich erreiche das Zarafa auch via Web (http://serverIP/webaccess) Gehe da auf "inbox" und lese das gleiche... 

Wollen wir mal abstimmen ob das ein Bug oder ein Feature ist

Netterweise bekomme ich diese Meldung im Minutentakt. Und jede weitere Minute (oder auch mal 2) meldet mit "logwatch"

info : Zentyal is up and running

kann ich das editieren? so das die meldung bspw. nur alle 10std. gesand wird?!

mhm, the only "problem" on this error is: i was logged in at the group-ware.!
zarafa works "fine" whit firefox or thunderbird 

how can i change (switch off) this false msg?!

Hello zentyalleros,

I am a Zarafa-noob. The 7.0.x was my first install. The import of all PST files works fine, also IMAP Import, and now Zarafa is ready to use (works fine whit thunderbird8) i have only one little "problem"

in my LAN i get a XML file from a db-server (only events are in the XML file) via ftp to my zarafa server. how can i show this XML file as a (CalDAV) Calendar in zarafa.

I thought: i make a new empty (Public) Calendar "xmlcalendar" on zarafaserver/webaccess.
and in this entry "xmlcalendar" i make a Caldav Dialog.

However, I cant find the entry "xmlcalendar" (ssh/root shell / find & grep) ?!

My Quest: How can i show this xml file as a "caldav calendar".

at a fresh install zentyal...

i add users (also to LDAP) via zentyal Web GUI
i open a shell -> ldapsearch -h localhost "objectClass=*" (i will see all users)

SASL/DIGEST-MD5 authentication started
Please enter your password: (i enter here the pw from the Zentyal Web-GUI)

ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Invalid credentials (49)
   additional info: SASL(-13): user not found: no secret in database

i have set up 3 "testusers" - why i don't see the users in LDAP?
which pw is the right?

hola,

I will setup a new VM on Zentyal. i have a image. (IMG) file on the Zentyal machine (core 2.2.3).

If i give the path to the IMG - Zentyal don't work whit this. But, if i "setup" a new (virtual) HD - zentyal found the IMG file?! (is this a Bug or a Feature?)   

After the setup i will/must save the new settings in Zentyal, but Zentyal tells:

Einige Module meldeten ein Fehler beim Sichern der Änderungen. Weitere Informationen finden Sie in den Logs in /var/log/zentyal/

element mac gibt es nicht

My Translate: some modules take a error "element mac" does'nt exist.

After my search over the Zentyal forum i found this topic

Nice, i can also write a XML file for my VM
(The folder: /var/lib/libvirt/images/ was empty at the moment. is this the right place?)

There was nothing changed. my suggestion:
i delete all VPN Clients (particularly least: R_D_SRVS_manyinfos)
and make a new R_D_SVRS File?!

any other solution?!

hola,
i have zentyal installt on a singel HD
i was mount a "new" HD to zentyal. /home/samba/shares/home/samba/groups/$foldername (sdb1 / ext4)
in the zentyal fontend i see: zentyal use: 88.89% ! from this HD ?
LVM was not installt.
how can i make free space on my second HD

my zentyal server was (a second time) cracked....

in /var/lib/ebox/tmp - i have many files like: $$$$$$.cmd  if i delete the files. they came automatic back ?

any idea

maybe the developers like a "dd" from my Svr. sda ?? (40GB)

Hello @ all,

at the first: a big THANKS for the great work. i have a fresh and clean install. on real HW (No VM) After ZENTYAL Setup i do the ZARAFA Setup to. I have create  a  Virtual mail domain and also a new (test) user. the default user (was create by setup) has a password in the /etc/passwd - the second user, create afterwords whit the ZENTYAL - GUI has NO! password in /etc/passwd - i go back to the bash an make a: $sudo adduser USERAME

hello,
 it is my first ebox install. 

on setup i have only select the office (Samba, printer...) packets. ebox starts first and i will login remote from a desktop pc whit firefox. but ebox-web interface tells wrong password. login via ssh works fine.  i have only this one pw. ?!

what must i do for login to the webinterface? thx.
