This amazes me  . At first sight I don't see any Zentyal function copyng all the directories there. Maybe some human error when backing up, or cleaning, /var/lib ?

Of course you can delete this copies, they should not be there. Maybe before removing them you can check their creation date to see if you can relate it to some event on your system?.

Just don't change the certificate for the administration web interface. Other certificates are fair play..

Thre is a known bug that sync could fail if you change the apache certificate. It is your case?

Hola,

el proxy en su archivo de configuracion tiene una lista de puertos a los que esta permitido hacer  conexiones https, debes poner una plantilla personalizada para agregar el puerto 8080.

La linea a agregar es:

acl SSL_ports port 8080         # Port to Open-Accept
}}}

en el archivo /etc/squid3/squid.conf.as que a su vez es generado por la plantilla squid/squid.conf.mas

You should look what is logged around the outrage time in the log files under  /var/log/openvpn 

Probably is a network issue, if you let them alone the VPN servers will try to reconnect after a interval

Sorry, but this is a bug of the clamav package itself. This file is not touched by zentyal so if it was fixed and now is broken, it must be for a upgrade of clamav.

I have reported it upstream, but it odes not seem to have caught much attention:

The files permissions seems correct to me.

What version of zentyal-ebackup do you have?

Other thing that maybe can give useful information is to alone the hook without backup process. To do so:

Could you check that the hook file has execution permission for the user 'ebox'?

What limitation have you set about number of held backup?
You see something in /var/log/zentyal/zentyal.log at the date/hour of the backup?

The clamav version 0.97.7 is ready for precise Ubuntu:
