Lo único que hace falta para AD es el DNS, todo lo demás lo puede seguir haciendo el router. Puedes configurar a los clientes para que apunten al DNS de Zentyal y el propio Zentyal con DNS Forwarder apuntando al Mikotik, así el Mikrotik seguirá resolviendo las consultas ajenas a los nombres del dominio.
En mi entorno el uso de Zentyal es exclusivamente para PDC y el servidor tiene una sola interfaz. No deberías tener ningún problema si solo configuras el dominio.

Zentyal Development Team is glad to announce the development roadmap for Zentyal Server 5.0! This will be a new major Zentyal Server version, that will be based on Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) and it will be released in November 2016. The expected release date is November 29th.
The Zentyal 5.0 version focuses primarly on improved Samba4 integration, with the goal of offering an easy-to-use Linux server that is natively compatible with the Microsoft® Active Directory. Due to the fast Samba4 development, from this version onwards Zentyal will integrate the latest stable Samba4 packages available upstream for Ubuntu/Debian. This allows quicker introduction of new Samba4 features, fixes and updates to Zentyal.
In addition, Zentyal 5.0 will include HTTP Proxy module and important improvements in Zentyal core to make it compatible with the changes in Ubuntu 16.04 (i.e. Systemd instead of Upstart for daemon management) and the possibility to install packages in Debian systems in the future. Due to the issues found recently in the OpenChange (that offers native synchronization with MS Outlook clients via MAPI protocol), this functionality has been dropped until the issues have been fixed and the module has been stabilized. For the time being, Zentyal can be deployed as a IMAP-POP3 mail server.

Hi, my Zentyal is 3.0.33 and I have the same issue with NTP. I tried to use this guide but in my version /var/lib/samba/ntp_signd doesn't exist. Any alternative? Thanks

Spanish / Problema sincronización de hora en dominio

Hola, tengo un Zentyal 3.0 de PDC y el NTP está activado y funcionando (la hora del servidor siempre es correcta). El problema viene en el lado de los clientes, no se les sincroniza la hora y poco a poco se van retrasando hasta que empiezan a dar fallos en las conexiones de red y tengo que cambiar la hora manualmente. No he tocado ninguna configuración, todo está por defecto, así que no sé qué hacer para solucionarlo.

El bloqueo por IP no es práctico porque usan muchas IP distintas y además van cambiando.
Lo mejor es "engañar" al cliente mediante el DNS para que al buscar el dominio facebook.com resuelva una dirección errónea (una IP que no exista en la LAN o una página de error en un servidor web local). Evitar este bloqueo es tan fácil como que el cliente cambie los DNS, pero si no tiene permisos de administrador no puede hacerlo.
La otra opción es utilizar proxy manual y quitarse de problemas (este y otros que da el modo transparente).

Me he dado cuenta de que si no lo reactivo manualmente, él solo vuelve a funcionar pasadas dos o tes horas. El problema es que en ese período de tiempo no se guarda ningún registro. Y la verdad, ahora que lo pienso no sé si este "descanso" se produce más veces a lo largo del día (por lo menos durante la mañana que es cuando estoy yo no lo hace más).

¿Nadie? He actualizado a 3.3.5 y sigue pasando. Antes de llegar a las 24 horas de uso, el registro del proxy deja de funcionar y hay que re-activarlo, pasa absolutamente todos los días.

Hola, tengo un servidor con Zentyal 3.3.4 y la función de proxy transparente activada. Todo va bien salvo que el registro deja de funcionar cada día a primera hora (casualmente cuando se empieza a trabajar). No es exactamente a la misma hora pero casi: a veces a las 7:50; a veces a las 8:02...
El problema se soluciona deshabilitando el registro del proxy HTTP y volviéndolo a habilitar. De ese modo empieza nuevamente a registrar... hasta la mañana siguiente.
¿Alguna ayuda?

Para añadir una excepción por IP hay que crear un dominio DNS ficticio con la IP y luego agregar dicho dominio en la sección de excepciones.

Many, many thanks, christian, I didn't think I would get but thanks to your help now works. The DNS way is dirty but I prefer to edit files manually, I'm really noob (that the reason we use Zentyal). I will set explicit proxy in the next production shutdown period. Again, thanks a lot.

Thanks, christian, now I can see exceptiones that I add in Zentyal GUI. For example, if I add the domain aeiou.pt, this line is added in the first line of iptables -t nat -L:

How can I add manually an IP to that nat table?
