Title: [DNS] share IP between domains
Post by: Laurent Dinclaux on May 28, 2019, 05:02:06 pm
Hello,

I am trying this setup:

- Domain: "office.domain.com" - IP 10.15.0.6
- Host: "only" on "office.domain.com" on IP 10.15.0.10
- Domain:  "front.domain.com" on IP 10.15.0.10

Note: Setting up the whole domain.com in Zentyal is not wanted

This does not look particularly clear to me:

Do you already have a domain / domain controller that are not managed by Zentyal?

This is normally a good source of info https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Active_Directory_Naming_FAQ

Thank but I know what a DNS is.

I just need to have a A record configured on the same IP as other domains. Zentyal says IP is already used.
