This process is the reponsible of adding rfc2307 attributes (uid, gid) to samba AD LDAP. I think that it might be related to this.
Fine!.. So, perhaps this is the main problem, or, at least, related to... Am I right?
How can we work together to fix this??

But do you have some glue why this happen???
I ran Zentyal in a VM and this VM I make backup every night... I thought backup is make VM stop in someway, so I disable the backup process... Even so, I get the error...
This is very bad, 'cause I need squid running here all the time...

i just setup zentyal 4 and now i have trouble configuring the firewall. The system has two network interfaces, the server shall act as a gateway:Afterwards i added a rule to allow ssh from external networks to zentyal and saved everything.
- eth0 is configured static 192.168.0.1/16
- eth1 is configured using dhcp and marked as external interface
Somehow i am not able to connect to the ssh server. nmap show all ports as blocked.
Any suggestions?
Are you using xDSL Modem, like D-Link, T-Link, whatever??
Consider make DMZ Host or NAT Server on that modem...

I have Zentyal 4.0.5 work as Domain Controller and Proxy HTTP/HTTPS.
Everything goes fine, how ever, from time to time, Samba crash with the following message:

I have a Zentyal 4 installed here and from time to time, I have this error:

And Squid stop to work...
Somebody else have the same issue??

Hello friends...
I start this post wishing Happy New Year for everybody...
Now, the problem!
Today, I get this error on Zentyal 4:
Error output: ERROR: / is world writable!
So, as a result, none of service running properly... Squid, samba, ssh and others services just stuck...
I make some search on google and found out that the problem is a wrong write permissions on "/"
Indeed, when I check "/" filesystem with ls -ld / command, I figure out the is as follow:

Of course, I was able to fix the problem, fixing the right permission to "/"...
But I do not know the cause of the problem...

I start this post wishing Happy New Year for everybody...
Now, the problem!
Today, I get this error on Zentyal 4:
Error output: ERROR: / is world writable!
So, as a result, none of service running properly... Squid, samba, ssh and others services just stuck...
I make some search on google and found out that the problem is a wrong write permissions on "/"
Indeed, when I check "/" filesystem with ls -ld / command, I figure out the is as follow:
drwsrwsrwx 22 root root 4096 Jan 2 11:15 /

Unfortunately, Zentyal 4 do not work on that Network...
I installed Zentyal 3.2 and everything works nicely...

I'am with this error, when I try to active Proxy module:
Error creating computer account for Zentyal server: Can't locate object method "_externalServiceKerberosKeytab" via package "EBox::Squid" at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/LDAP/ExternalAD.pm line 661, line 879.
My server is configurated to use External AD server...
Some help please?
