Email and Groupware / Openchange in different OU's

Hello foks...

After some years not mess up with Zentyal ( indeed, I stop in 3.2, that one I considere more reliable), I have now a project involved Zentyal 4.2 with SoGo and OpenChange... The project involv Exchange 2007 migration...
So, I go after and installed Zentyal 4.2 as Virtual Machine and for my frustration, I saw that Openchange accounts jut work if the user is in Users Organization Unit...
I heard about a patch for OpenChange that correct this issue....
Somebody can help me?!?!

If you have the Mail Modul installed, you can find unter /etc/postfix the file login.cf
Be root or type sudo -s to see what is in there. There you can find the LDAP credentials and schemas to connect the LDAP Server.

 

Never mind

I was able to use administrator account like this: administrator@domain.com

It's work pretty well...

Boa tarde

Segue tutorial rápido de como integrar o openvpn ao AD do Zentyal 4.x

Instalar o openvpn-auth-ldap:

apt-get install openvpn-auth-ldap

Adicionar no arquivo de configuração do openvpn no Zentyal, a linha

plugin /usr/lib/openvpn/openvpn-auth-ldap.so /etc/openvpn/auth-ldap.conf

O arquivo de configuração do openvpn no Zentyal, fica em /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/openvpn.
Adicione a linha acima no final do arquivo  openvpn.conf.mas

O arquivo /etc/openvpn/auth-ldap.conf, deve ficar assim:

URL       ldap://localhost
BindDN administrator@seu-dominio
Password <Senha do Administrator>
...
...
...
<Authorization>
   BaseDN      "OU=VPN,DC=dominio"
   # User Search Filter
   SearchFilter   "SAMAccountName=%u"

   # Require Group Membership
   RequireGroup   false
...
...
</Authorizarion>


Você deve ter previamente criado o usuário Administrator ou algum outro usuário e colocar ele no grupo "Domain Admins" e "Schema Admins".

Crie também uma OU chamada VPN e coloque os usuários de VPN lá.

Altere também o arquivo /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/openvpn/openvpn-client.conf.mas
Na linha 190, logo abaixo de

;mute 10

adicione o seguinte:

auth-user-pass

Depois disso, é necessário reiniciar o processo do openvpn:

service zentyal openvpn restart

Usuário que já usavam a VPN terão que baixar novamente o arquivo de configuração ou você disponibilizar para eles.

Since Zentyal 4.x do not use OpenLDAP anymore, where can I found LDAP password??

I need it in order to make ldapsearch work against Zentyal users database...

Any light?

hi folks

I have face the very same trouble here...

I have two ADSL link, one named GVT and other named NET.

With GVT, I was able to put manually the gateway.. It is like 192.168.1.1

But, with ADSL named NET, I need set the network interface as DHCP client in order to set gateway properly... Otherwise, gateway always get unckecked...

I think that bouth of you could give a try, leave the Network Interface as DHCP client. instead of manually setting....

Hi again

I notice that when I set the second gateway, and try to save the changes, I get this error on zentyal.log:

2015/01/21 13:46:29 ERROR> GlobalImpl.pm:660 EBox::GlobalImpl::saveAllModules - Failed to save changes in module squid: Could not get lock for service: squid

Is this could be a reason that do not save the second gateway configuration???

I installed Zentyal 4 and two Internet Link.

I have set the two gateway, like gw-01 and gw-02...

But, often gw-02 has unchecked without any human action!

Somebody has the same problem???

Olá PessoALL,

Na 3.0 isto funciona... É importante lembrar de detalhes, tipo:

- na hora de configurar o proxy, vc coloca "proxy.dominio.local" (exemplo) ao invés de apenas um IP
- o DNS da máquina do cliente deve ser o IP do proxy/firewall integrado ao AD
