Then, run the following command and let me know what /var/log/daemon.log says:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo /etc/init.d/ddclient restart

Make sure the Zentyal Cloud is set as provider in [it]Network -> Dynamic DNS[/it].

Best regards,

Hi tkaisar,

Just for the record, zentyal-monitor only manages thermal plugin and not sensors plugin at the moment.

Glad to hear that now works for you.

Hi yustao,

I encourage you not to open several posts about the same problem. There is a risk of being blocked or removed.

Regarding to your problem, please check Network --> DynDNS and the ddclient logs in /var/log/daemon.log to help you further. Make sure as well the server is connected to Zentyal Cloud. I double-check your server and I cannot see any update from your server.

Best regards,

Hi Escorpiom,

We have detected a bug in the syntax when you're desuscribing your server. It is now fixed on trunk.

As I see, your server is now connected again.

Thanks again for your feedback here.

Best,

There is no need to open a port.

Hi Yustao,

Check the logs for ddclient to update your address in Zentyal Cloud. To do so, check it out with the following command:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo grep 'ddclient' /var/log/daemon.log

According to our records, no update has reached Zentyal Cloud.

Hi Thorsten,

I'm afraid this a problem between your motherboard and the Linux Kernel. Nothing that Zentyal can do about it.

Good luck!

Hi thorsten,

As described here [1], the plugin thermal will collectd all devices for measuring its temperature if no device are defined. So the default configuration is correct. The CPU temperature is measured using the kernel feature in SysFS, or if it is not available the ProcFS system. Check the existence and the contents of /sys/class/thermal or the fallback /proc/acpi/thermal_zone to know if your kernel is able to collect the current CPU temperature.

Best regards,

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Network fail after enabling subscription
« on: November 17, 2011, 11:30:40 am »
Hi aranel,

I don't think this has nothing to do with the subscription. However, you may paste here the relevant lines of the log /var/log/zentyal/zentyal.log to see why the network module is failing to start.

Best regards,

71
Hi Master,

If you want to have Zentyal Subscriptions, this is mandatory as a cloud client.

Hi master,

The only way to solve this problem is to manually edit your Redis configuration by running this command:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo /usr/share/zentyal/redisvi
# Search for /ebox/state/remoteservices/subscribed key
# Edit value from '1' to '0'
# Finally save changes as a vi editor

Then, go to the interface and save changes, if required.

Best regards,

73
Hi Emilio,

It seems like your server was in a unstable status because it says it is subscribed but you have no files...

Try to fix it by running the following command:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo /usr/share/zentyal-remoteservices/unsubscribe

If that does not work for you, try to remove the package zentyal-remoteservices and install it again.

Best regards,
