Hi there,

As innocenti_jr has pointed out, you can comment out the line. In future versions, its enabling will be configured. The script store the tests in the database and it is available to consult in Zentyal Cloud.

Best regards,

We hope to have it ready along the following weeks...

I'd let you know.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Enterprise subscription
« on: March 09, 2012, 09:13:30 pm »
Hi there,

Does anyone else on this forum receive satisfactory resolution to their problems via a paid subscription or is the software just broken? I just don't want to pay the dough and have the issues perpetually unresolved.

Using a paid subscription, we try our best to resolve your issues, if the problem is related to Zentyal, then a bugfix is always applied and have higher priority than others. So using our support you will receive a resolution for your needs, fixing either the configuration or the Zentyal software.

I hope this clarify your doubts.

Hi there,

Could you check the /var/log/daemon.log log and see if dhcpd is updating the records to named?

Try to use different VPN from 192.168.0.0/24, since this value is very common. You can use, for instance, 192.168.132.0/24.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Temperature Monitoring - collectd ??
« on: March 09, 2012, 12:20:41 am »
Hi there people,

Basically, the information is read from ACPI in the kernel from thermal plugin as I said before. We collect the data from thermal zones and not from cooling devices (More information at [1]). As you can see there, the information is got from zone and not from cooling device itself structure. If you don't have thermal zone, then it is a problem between the kernel and your motherboard. As biyover suggests, you may use lm-sensors to get the temperature [2]. However, you need to have Perl skills to have it on the Web UI.

Let me know if I can help you both further.

Hi vshaulsk,

We do only have support in Zentyal UI support for thermal_zones. You can take a look on the RRDs that are available at /var/lib/collectd/rrd/thermal-.... In your case, your kernel is not able to see the temperature for zones. As you can see on your directory listing. [1]

Your 8 cooling devices are not displayed in the UI.

Hey guys just a little tangential, regarding the blogs. How come there is no linkage from the main site. I keep finding great bits of Zentyal knowledge by chance or through the occasional post like before.

You're right. The current link is for 2.0 but with minor changes will work in 2.2 (s/ebox/zentyal/g)

Installation and Upgrades / Re: zentyal as custom openvpn client

Hi there,

You can only use Zentyal OpenVPN client using as auth method PKI, that is, a private key + certificate + CA certificate. Zentyal uses tap to create the virtual network adapter.

Hi there,

Firstly, we want to apologise if you have any connection problems. We are working on having a more stable connections to Zentyal Cloud, indeed it is expected to release a new set of packages to improve the connections to Zentyal Cloud and VPN clients in general :).

The main problem we are having the bug was not easy to hunt.

Best regards and thanks for using Zentyal Cloud,

Hi Remon,

The problem is related to a bug in the provision process that allows you to create a company name which is not a valid domain name. I have renamed to match a valid domain name.

It is required for you to remove the current server in Zentyal Cloud and unsubscribe and subscribe your server again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Let me know if that works for you.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Backup failed - Remote Storage is Full.

I think you managed to solve the problem by reconnecting the server to Zentyal Cloud by running this command:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo /etc/init.d/zentyal openvpn restart

Please, mark the topic as SOLVED as described by the general rules, if you'd like.

Hello xesao,

Make sure you're backing up only the required backup domains and double check includes/excludes. And set a backup policy retention to include only 1 full backup in the cloud if you don't want to waste your remote space or need to buy more. If you need more, don't hesitate to buy it :).

In order to delete your data from the provider, run the following command:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo /usr/share/zentyal-ebackup/backup-cleanup --delete-all

If you have further problems, do not hesitate to ask me personally at ejhernandez at zentyal.com.

Best regards,

Hi there,

sudo adduser new_admin admin would do the trick as well :). The debian way...
