Installation and Upgrades / Re: AD Sync Issues
« on: May 01, 2012, 06:43:48 am »
Further update. Seems the issue of missing Groups is still there even with Zentyal set as the PDC.
I also noticed that AD Group permissions on shares are removed as well.

Installation and Upgrades / AD Sync Issues
« on: April 30, 2012, 10:14:00 pm »
I have a Zentyal 2.3 box setup to sync with 2003 AD. Everything worked well until I unchecked the Enable PDC checkbox in File Sharing. I did this because I noticed a eventlog on the AD saying is was competing with the Zentyal Box to be the PDC.
After a while I noticed that Groups in Users and Groups where no longer showing however Users were. If I reset the ADSync User Password the groups appear but a while later they vanish again and resetting the AD Sync user the Groups are back again for a while and so forth.
If I check the Enable PDC checkbox again in File Sharing Groups appear and stay there.
Any suggestions anyone?

Installation and Upgrades / Email disclaimer
« on: April 16, 2012, 08:46:31 pm »
I am using the latest Zentyal with Zarafa. I tried adding an email disclaimer as per the following post http://forum.zentyal.org/index.php/topic,6664.0.html.
As soon as I try and restart the mail module the server becomes unresponsive and the cpu is being maxed out by Zed. I tried a reboot without any joy. The only way to recover was to uninstall altermime. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: How to add an e-mail disclaimer to outgoing mail
« on: April 16, 2012, 05:36:30 pm »
I tried this approach and when I restart the mail module I get no response back from the server. When I run top there is a Sed process using all the CPU and disk. Any ideas would be grateful.
Cheers
