hello, it seems to be a django error. apache2 works without django? can you try first to uninstall django and see if apache2 works?

hello,
re, re, re installed zentyal 4.0... until now i managed to work email services on webmail and smartphones, but no on outlook. every time i want to setup an address, i receive this message:
microsoft outlook: the action cannot be completed. the requested operation failed because no search criteria were given to the microsoft exchange address book
i must mention that i have in dns the following domains:
- internal-domain.lan with internal ip, nameserver with name of the machine ("server01"), internal ip and alias "autodiscover" and hostname same as machine name ("server01");
- internal-domain.ro with external ip, nameserver with name of the machine ("server01"), external ip and alias "autodiscover", "www" and "mail" and hostname same as machine name ("server01");
- other-domain.ro with external ip, nameserver with name of the machine ("server01"), external ip and alias "autodiscover" and hostname same as machine name ("server01");
i don't know where the problem is, can you help me. pls?...

i have few questions, if you can answer me.
first of all, the needs: one machine as router, dns server (6 diff domains), web server, email server with several users, most of them are mobile, so they need to use outlook anywhere (every user have only one email address).
what i've done till now:
1. router with dhcp: it works.
2. dns server: it works, checked with mxtoolbox and other tools.
3. web-server: done with apache, but not from zentyal
4. email server: it works only from webmail
5. samba: it seems it works... can't join a domain, but i believe it's something wrong in my setup
6.openchange: seems to work as i can use webmail...
7. outlook setup: doesn't work; every time get errors: at first connection it works, but after that it doesn't work anymore or on other cases can't setup outlook at all (i will detail this later).
8. mobile phones setup doesn't work in some cases (on windows phone, didn't tried on android or iphone)
now, i observed that if i name the machine with on of the external domains (ex domain.com), outlook connect first time to server, but starting from second time get only problems and receive only a list of "none" message (tried outlook 2010 and 2013)
if i name the machine with a "local" domain (ex domain.local) outlook can't connect at all and mobile devices get "security error" - settings don't met security policy...
in both cases email server works.
now, i believe it could be some settings from openchange, right? but which settings?...
here are my questions:
in your setup how did you named your machine?
do you have more separate domains (like domain1.com ... domain4.com)?
you deployed certificates (for ca and for domain) on the clients depending on their domain, right?
really, i don't know what to do anymore.
p.s. right now i use a working solution based on ubuntu server 14.04 with several packages (email server - zarafa), but i am "limited" only for 3 free users for outlook connector...

yeah...
still no answer... i'm curious, if i choose to buy support, will be the same?...
these days tried for the "n" time to install, reinstall, setup re-setup, etc, zentyal for a simple scenario like i already wrote in subject. thanks god i didn't removed my old server!...
well, my conclusion is this: zentyal sucks!!!!! let me explain:
1. web server gone from dashboard; why? who knows??? lucky me, i know to use apache with virtual domains and worked in cli...
2. even if email server and openchange works on web interface, on outlook and phones don't works at all!... strange, on outlook all what i got is a lot of "none" messages (wtf?!?!?!?!), even i receive a new message!!!! sent messages appear also to drafts (again, wtf?!?!?!?!), tried on several computers (2 with the same email address and 2 with diff addresses)

hmmm...
nobody answers... so, finally got it working: in firewall i must add a new rule for pop/imap/smtp...
anyway, i'm not happy with zentyal at all: until last night it freeze twice... i will stop using zentyal for a while...

hello all,
tried to install zentyal 3.5 as router, dns for several domains, email server, samba ad and web server on the same machine, but it seems something it's wrong: can't receive emails.
what i have done so far:
1. installed zentyal 3.5 with machine name: server.domain.local (where domain.local is the "local" name of domain.com - one of my domains)
2. i have setup wan and lan network interfaces, gateway, dns servers, dhcp server, ca, firewall.
3. in dns settings i have "domain.local" with internal ip, "domain.com - domain5.com" with external ip and with dns tools domains respond well
4. i have setup zentyal as standalone domain server (users with ldap).
5. i have setup email server, but i believe here i have some trouble: in mail -> virtual domains i put domain.local and the others fqdn domains; it's correct?
6. i have setup openchange.
strange, i can send emails, but can't receive any...
can somebody tell me few things:
I. machine name in this scenario must be like "server.domain.com" or can be "server.domain.local?
II. how can i manage email accounts so that when somebody send an email to "user1@domain.local the server will translate it to "user1@domain1.com" and so on for all users and domains?

i try to setup my real name domain to be visible on the internet. until now used ubuntu and works like a charm: i have 7 different domains, all with email and www services.
when installed zentyal, on hostname "zentyal" and domain name "LBSOL.local" only with network services.
reboot and installed dns, dhcp, ntp and firewall. on dns added my real name domain "lbsol.ro"; in winscp it shows the zone and reverse. but still on "dig" or something else my domain isn't found.
i must to make other settings?
