That solution is for Zentyal 4. Today we are at 6.2. Is there a way to use Zentyal HTTP proxy with just 1 internal interface?

2
I would also like to know how to do this for Zentyal 6.2

So I went from 2GB to 3GB and Antivirus stays running and works.
It is a solution, but IMHO this is a lot of RAM for a Linux server just processing a few emails. I would not have expected Zentyal to be that memory hungry.

Just checked the module status after some hours and zero email activity: Antivirus not running. Doesn't sound healthy, this should not happen.

Any further ideas?

Good idea, I went from 1GB to 2GB.
Antivirus stil did not come up on its own, but running freshclam manually now finished and starting Antivirus manually also worked.

When switching the usage of Antivirus on in Mail-Filter, Antivirus stopped again. I had to start it again manually.
Currently it is still running, lets see for how long.

How much RAM is recommended for a Mail server with Mail-Filter and Antivirus and less than 10 Users?

Zentyal 6.2, core 6.2.3, module Antivirus 6.2.1, this is a fresh install in a VM
I noticed that emails are delivered as ***UNCHECKED*** due to the Antivirus not running.
Running freshclam as sudo produces the following error:

Wed Sep 23 20:25:21 2020 -> ClamAV update process started at Wed Sep 23 20:25:21 2020

Wed Sep 23 20:25:43 2020 -> !Database update process failed: Test failed (8)
Wed Sep 23 20:25:43 2020 -> !Update failed.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Note: Removing and re-installing the module did not fix the problem.

As an intermediate solution I turned of AV checking in Mail Filter to get rid of the "***UNCHECKED***" comment.
