Hi,

I have asked the questions several times, but I still can NOT make my dyndns "shinewain.zentyal.me" work. So I suspect the Zentyal Cloud DynDNS actually does NOT work at all.

Sorry for posting this one more time - the subdomain "shinewain.zentyal.me" does NOT still work for me although I have subscribed the Zentyal Cloud.

Could you guys help me look into this?

I subscribed my server to Zentyal Cloud. The dyndns name is "shinewain.zentyal.me". Unfortunately, when I tried to ping it, I always got the below error:

ping shinewain.zentyal.me
Ping request could not find host shinewain.zentyal.me. Please check the name and try again.

Hi,

Our company has two offices, and each of them is using ADSL connection to access to Internet. The external IP address of each office can change about every 12 hours.

We are planing to install two Zentyal servers and use the VPN module so that we can connect the two offices. But I am fearing the stability of the connections due to the dynamic IP issue.

Could we do that in the situation of dynamic IP address?

Hi All,

I am one native Chinese speaker,and I am trying to translate Zentyal into Simplified Chinese. But I have the following two questions on this:
1. When I got to the Zentyal  core->system->General->Language Selection, and I have not found the Simplified Chinese into that.
2. When I tried to change the language, such as French, Japanese, Zentyal still shows English. Would someone let me know the reason?

Installation and Upgrades / user corner still doesn't work

I used the newest ebox 1.5 to test the user corner. When I just installed a few packages (ebox, libebox, ebox-firewall and ebox-usersandgroups), the user corner did work. But when I installed more packages (ebox-ca, ebox-vpn, ebox-hhcp and ebox-dns,etc), the user corner does not work...

I found there are no ebox-mail, mailfilter and webmail packages in the new ebox 1.5 branch. Why are they removed?

From the previous posts, we know there is one known bug in user corner in ebox version 1.5. Has the bug been solved? If yes, how to patch it in ebox 1.5?

Installation and Upgrades / ebox-ca package: Outlook 2007 reported Certification error

When I have configured the Certification Authority and issued the CA certificate, and then enabled the mail services for it.

But when I used the Outlook 2007 to connect the ebox machine, I got the warning messages like that "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot to verified". After that, I chose "View Certificate..", in the "General" tab, I got below:

Windows does not have enough information to verify this certificate.
Issue to: ebox
Issued by: Certification Authority Certificate
Valid from 6/6/2010 to 3/1/2013

When will the new Ebox platform1.4 be ready? I found one a few modules are in here. I am really eager to get the new version to have a try at Ubuntu 10.04.

Installation and Upgrades / can not set the static IP address for ebox machine

When I tried to set the IP address of ebox machine from DHCP address to static IP address, I first changed /etc/network/interfaces to set the address, netmask and gateway. And then, I had to run the command "sudo apt-get --purge remove dhcp3-client". Otherwise, the static IP address setting did NOT work.

But when I ran above command, I found some ebox modules, such as ebox-network, were also removed. But actually, I really do NOT want to remove the ebox modules.  Could anyone help on this?
