Hi,
after upgrade from 5.1 (all updates made) to 6.0 an error reported starting Mail Module:
Service.pm:80 EBox::Service::running - No such daemon: postfix@- at No such daemon: postfix@- at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Service.pm line 80
The mail services works fine but from dashboard the module Mail is stopped.

Hi, I need to receive and send mail from a shared domain (such as gmail.com). I setup the virtual domain with fetchmail gmail.com
I create the account john@gmail.com and it works, receive all mail by fetchmail. If I try to send an email to smith@yahoo.com it works. But if I send an email to smith@gmail.com it return "unkown user". I think because the mail server don't have the address in known account list.
Is there a way to send all mail (also the local virtual domains) to relay server?

"dns-zentyal" is a system user. I don't create it from webgui.

Hi,

After upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 while making any changes to DNS module At the end I am getting this error message

Some modules reported error when saving changes. More information on the logs in /var/log/zentyal/

The following modules failed while saving their changes, their state is unknown: dns

error msg  in  zentyal.log

In zentyal.log:

Failed to save changes in module dns: root command kinit -k -t /var/lib/samba/private/dns.keytab dns-zentyal failed.
Error output: Password has expired
 dns-zentyal@DOMAIN.LAN's Password:

Command output: .
Exit value: 1

With the old version, just create a second domain with the same ip of the primary.

With version 5.1.1 it goes into error that the ip is already present in the other domain.

Is there a way to specify the record A in the DNS server?

I've this situation:
Local domain:  mydomain.lan
Remote domain: mydomain.com
My zentyal is: zentyal.mydomain.lan with ip 192.168.0.50

My zentyal from remote: zentyal.mydomain.com with ip 69.xx.xx.xx

I'm searching a way to force the PC on local network to resolve zentyal.mydomain.com to 192.168.0.50

I've more traffic with windows update. Can I config a policy under LDAP to point all windows updates to a WSUS server?

It seems I have a problem during night automatic updates because it update all packages including "apt-mark hold" packages.
Is there a way to exclude a package from updates?

Hi,
I've install new fresh Zentyal 5.0 with PDC, Email, Webmail, DNS, DHCP. The desktop client can access to domain correctly, but when I try to access to webmail: Invalid user or password.

From sogo.log:

I've try to restore a Zentyal backup, but the DNS Module take an error because it search the old interface name: eth0
Can I change the new interface name enp0s3 to eth0?

Hi,
I'm using Zentyal as PDC, my Time Zone is Rome and I've activate the automatic ntp sync but the time is later than an hour.
The time is wrong on the server and also inherits wrong on clients.
Actual config:
TimeZone: Rome
real date: 09:15
date command: 10:15
NTP Sync Active
