Installation and Upgrades / Re: sogo-activesync package
« on: March 13, 2014, 01:50:40 pm »
Hi Torsten,
Due to our schedule, activesync packages will be delayed and released about 2 weeks after the release. They will be available directly from zentyal repositories, ready to be deployed and used with no hassle.
There is no change of plans, just a more accurate schedule.
Br,
Julien.

Hi Torsten,
Thanks for the feedback.
We will give it a look shortly and ensures it is fixed this week.
We may eventually require some of your time to gather more information and eventually test it again if you are willing to.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: When zentyal will support the offline address book ?
« on: March 05, 2014, 11:53:40 am »
Good afternoon,
The OAB file format (Offline Address Book) can take some time to implement. What we may howerver do in the foreseeable future is to implement stubs in the first place to get ride of this message.

« on: February 27, 2014, 04:32:00 pm »Ce module "Network bonding" s'active si , on install OpenChange ?
Non, c'est completement independant.
Networking > Interfaces > Method: Bundled > Bonding device
Faut-il configuré le réseau après avoir installer OpenChange ?
Il te faudra necessairement une IP fixe pour installer OpenChange correctement. Il est donc preferable de bien configurer la partie reseau avant.

News and Announcements / High Availability in Zentyal Server 3.4
« on: February 27, 2014, 12:29:02 pm »
Good afternoon,
Some of you have already noticed the forthcoming version of Zentyal Server 3.4 comes with High Availability for UTM services. To this regards, we have released a new article in Zentyal Labs that introduces this feature and provides a quick tutorial on a common deployment scenario.
http://labs.zentyal.org/high-availability-in-zentyal/
Any feedback about this feature from early adopters before it goes live would be much appreciated!
We have taking good notes some of you had already started :-)

Hi,
You are in the right direction.
We indeed have a pipeline of issues to address in 3.4 - mainly caused by the upgrade to Saucy and the apache removal for webadmin. If you find issues, we would appreciate you post them to tracker.zentyal.org and set to the version to 3.4 regardless of the empty 3.4 ticket stack.
All feedback are useful at this point and we have time to fix all pending issues before the release date.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: openchange not running after provisioned
« on: February 25, 2014, 09:50:33 am »
Yes it was solved quite some time ago already.
There was indeed some corner cases and unhandled behavior triggered by reprovision of openchange (deprovision/reprovision) or reprovision of samba, then openchange.
If you are still hitting this issue with latest version of Zentyal and openchange package, open a ticket to this regards on tracker.zentyal.org with your zentyal.log in attachment.

News and Announcements / Re: New OpenChange webmail in Zentyal 3.4
« on: February 22, 2014, 12:19:31 pm »Julien apols for bothering you.
No bothering at all
Any chance you could add to the gallery of all the functions it contains or does that functionality need a client app?
At this stage of the development/integration - this feature is missing. However point noted for further releases/improvements. That was one of the objective of this thread/discussion. Glad it takes this direction.
With regards to feature list and gallery, the exhaustive list is yet missing, but should indeed be available and belongs to zentyal wiki. We will try to provide a preliminary list soon.
Would be a no brainer if it also has brick level backup utilities.
Definitely a mid-term requirement and good candidate for 3.5 or 4.0 release.

Julien.

This webmail interface is linked to OpenChange deployment and existing webmail (roundcube) is unaffected and remains untouched.
