Installation and Upgrades / Move Zentyal to new network - new IP and new default gateway -- SOLVED

Hi,
I have installed som Zentyal servers with Active Directory and DNS. Now we have rebuilt our networks and I have to move the servers to a new network. I have to set new IP addresses and set new default gateway.
How could I do this?
I have tested to change the IP in /etc/network/interfaces and I can connect to the the new IP address on the new network via the web GUI. I cannot change the IP and DGW because som error messages.

Other modules / SOLVED - DNS does not work

Hi,
I'm trying to use Zentyal 6 as DNS. It is not working. I have reinstalled the server several times with the same problem. Occasionally the DNS can resolve one name but then it stopps answering. I use the Hostname tab under DNS Domains to add the hostnames and their IP adresses.
Should Zentyal be able to act DNS server?

Directory and Authentication / Error joinin Zentyal 5 server to another Zentyal 5.0 domain

Hi,
I'm trying to add a second Zentyal 5.0 server as additional domain controller to an existing Zentyal 5.0 server. I get the following error:
The domain is pipos.eu
IP of primary existing Zentyal server 192.168.80.50
IP of the new additional Zentyal server 192.168.80.55
Here are some of the errors in /var/log/zentyal/zentyal.log
Can someone help me to add this second server to the domain?

Directory and Authentication / Add new attribute in AD/LDAP

Hi,
today we use Windows Active Directory but my goal is to skip this and use two Zentyal servers as domain controllers. I have tested and most features seem to work directly. I have some concerns and one of them is how do I add new attributes to AD / LDAP?
On our Windows Active Directory we have added attributes to indicate if people are absent and how long, if they are in the management team, whether they are department managers, etc. Unfortunately, I have not managed to create new attributes in Zentyals AD / LDAP. I have used Apache Directory Studio and get a lot of different error codes at the end.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Installation and Upgrades / Is it possible to have an extra server only handles some mailboxes

Hi,
We have some offices where we have slow and poor data connection. Is it possible to put a Zentyal server there, and there are only replicated email, calendars, etc. for the staff of that office? We prefer not to replicate all data that lands on our primary mail server. We have Ad groups for each office.
