Installation and Upgrades / Re: Absolutely NEED bonding

You could install the old network module which provides bonding.

Installation and Upgrades / Help with Apache reverse proxy
« on: July 23, 2015, 01:05:39 pm »
Hello!

Can anyone give me some tips on how to create a reverse proxy with Apache in Zentyal?
I would like that some link (https://domain.local/archive) to return results form another server in LAN (sorry for my explanation).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Remove graphical interface

Thanks julio

Does anybody know what packages to uninstall to remove the graphical interface?
I don't need graphical since I access Zentyal remotely and I used RSAT.

What to remove other than zenbuntu-desktop, zenbuntu-core and firefox?

Thanks!

From Wiki https://wiki.zentyal.org/wiki/En/4.1/Network_configuration_service_(DHCP):

Quote
You can perform static assignment of IP addresses to specific physical addresses in the Fixed addresses section. To fill this section you need an object which members are pairs of host IP addresses (/32) and MAC addresses. You can create this object from Network ‣ Objects or directly in the quick menu offered in the DHCP interface. An address assigned in this way can not be part of any range. You can add an optional Description for the allocation as well.

You can see DHCP clients using dynamic allocations (static allocations will not be shown) thanks to a widget that will appear in the Dashboard

I had a similar problem after uninstalling and reinstalling OpenChange.
One message here, on forum.zentyal.org, was a life saver.
It involves a little hack...
https://forum.zentyal.org/index.php/topic,24625.msg94859.html#msg94859

The only difference I found was that I had to insert a line after no. 463 - not 444, as in the instructions.
Good luck!

Installation and Upgrades / Re: autodiscover url is case senstive

For me the rewrite works.
However, cannot pass the Microsoft tests because of the untrusted certificate... but the autodiscover link work.

What about a url rewrite with apache?

Code: [Select]
mkdir /var/www/html/Autodiscover
echo "RedirectMatch 302 (?i)^/Autodiscover/(.*)$ https://xxx.yourdomain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml" > /var/www/html/Autodiscover/.htaccess

Can you try?

Nice work, julio!
Muchas gracias!!!

May I suggest to make this a new topic?
Maybe there are some other users like me disappointed by Zentyal's team decision to stop support for link aggregation...
One completion: you'd have to add a "cd zentyal-network-4.1.100" before first "sed"...

Great job, julio!
You're my hero!!!  ;D

I would also be interested in porting the network module from 4.0... I'd really like to use link aggregation.

Would these instructions work for zentyal-network_4.0.tar.gz also? I mean, of course, first 3 sed's are pretty self explanatory, the 4th one appears it's only for squid, but I wonder about the last one...

Thank you very much for all your work!

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Mail - Queue management error
« on: July 10, 2015, 08:19:26 pm »
Actually I cannot answer that. Never tried that option. The server is fully functional, it's the domain controller with 7 workstations members of the domain and the mail system (including OpenChange and ActiveSync) is working as expected.
Some emails were not going through (some relaying issues) and I wanted to check the mail queue. That's when I stumbled across this error...

Nope, same error.
The server was also full restarted 2 times - I think - before posting.
