Hi ,
i'm testing Zentyal 4.0 in a SaaS mode, so only one network interface configured but we keep the firewall to limit the ports avilable from outside.
the aim is to provide all mail services ( including outlook anywhere & Card/cal Dav ) but no AD auth.
is there currently any tutorial on this setup.
We tried without the default interface (eth0) setup as external wan but the firewall behave strangly, we cannot open the 8080 port for a new service for example

Hi is there a link on the redmine for the outlook Autorefresh feature .
As it seems it works only on the Zentyal QA but not on our server ( 4.0) we should help to dig this subject.

Ces 2 actions sont redondantes.
Fait uniquement ( si tu veux utiliser le PPA ) :
sudo apt-add-repository -y ppa:teejee2008/ppa

le tunnel SSH est en effet une bonne solution sécurisé, cela se fait avec Putty sur Windows par exemple. il est bien sur plus simple de le faire a partir de Linux.
Sinon tu peux aussi acceder a l'interface Web de Zentyal a partir d'internet , mais attention ....

Hi , according to the Zentyal documentation this is a current known issue . even for 2010 and 2007.
Maybe you can give a try to activeSync support, but on Android I'm getting the same behaviour.

I'm using Zentyal 4.0 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 in our KVM server without problem ( we had problems with OpenVZ on proxmox though because of IPV6 )

« on: November 27, 2014, 09:13:53 am »So maybe a good advice for every one who tries to test it, you need to follow exactly the setup guide from zentyal. So you need minimum 2 Lan and don´t configure you domains as local.testing.com and testing.com (virtual mail domain) instead of both identically like explained in wiki! This is something which can´t be reverted without loosing ldap database. This seems to be responsible for many problems i encounter in my setup (like i did on sbs2003).

So you confirm that right now this will only work if DomainName = domain.com with a virtualhost for email domain.com and that would fail with subdmains ?
