French / Interconnection entre réseaux internes....problème....
« on: November 08, 2011, 12:31:31 pm »
Bonjour,

Je m'excuse d'avance si cette question vous semble très simpliste.

Soit j'ai un problème matériel, soit je n'ai pas compris la philosophie de Zentyal.

Voici mon problème:

   Sur mon serveur, j'ai 3 cartes réseaux:

          eth0 = interne LAN1 (10.6.19.0/24)
          eth1 = interne LAN2 (10.6.18.0/24)
          eth3 = externe INTERNET

Merci d'avance.

Installation and Upgrades / Bridge mode + Static route = Bug ?
« on: November 02, 2011, 03:07:40 am »

Hello,

   I experienced the "Bridge mode" on Zentyal.

   But there is a problem.

   I created three networks. LAN1 (192.168.0.0/24), LAN2 (192.168.10.0/24) and LAN3 (192.168.50.0/24).

   LAN1 on my router (192.168.0.1) which gives me access to the Internet.
   This router also allows me to create a subnet (LAN3) on one of its outputs (advanced VLAN).

   On Zentyal, LAN1 is connected to eth0 (192.168.0.10) and LAN2 on eth1 (192.168.10.1)

   I set eth0 to "external".

   Then I defined a "static route" to access LAN3:

       - Network: 192.168.50.0/24
         Gateway: 192.168.0.1

   From this point, it works. I can ping the computer that is on
   LAN3 (192.168.50.10) from LAN2

   Then I wanted to try the mode "bridge" between eth0 and eth1. I put the bridge 192.168.0.10.

   It works, I can still ping LAN3.

   But if I restart Zentyal, it does not work!

   Zentyal loses the static route!

   By cons, if I go into the interface Zentyal, and I click on "Save Changes", it works.

   I think Zentyal loses the static route when it starts in this configuration.

   Would I have found a bug?

  Thank you in advance.

Installation and Upgrades / Zentyal - Static Route Problem
« on: June 07, 2011, 08:33:37 pm »
Hello,

  I would try to replace my old server by Zentyal.

  I connected my network (192.168.10.0/24) to my neighbor (192.168.0.0/24) to
  Using a small footbridge programmed with the IP address 192.168.10.1 on my side
  and 192.168.0.1 on the side of my neighbor.

  This allows me to access my neighbor's Home Sever (192.168.0.254) and another server (192.168.0.253).

  Under my old server, I simply defined a static route and it worked very well.

  Old server IP: 192.168.10.250

  With Zentyal, I have a problem:

  If I set a static route as it was in the old server,
  From one of the machines on my network, I know machines ping
  my neighbor, but I have no services available.

  However, I am sending mail on the server from my neighbor.

  For cons, the Zentyal itself, I have access to all services.

  Someone an idea

Installation and Upgrades / 2 Internal LAN
« on: June 07, 2011, 04:37:28 pm »
Hello!

 I defined 2 networks on my Zentyal.

  eth0 = 10.6.19.0/24
  eth1 = 10.6.20.0/24

 They are defined as networks "internal ".

 My question is:

  Is it normal for there have no connection between the two networks?

  Is it necessary to define a "bridge"?

  From one of the two networks, I can not even ping one machine from another network.

 Yet the rules of the firewall are left by default

 Thank you in advance

Installation and Upgrades / SUBNET by electronic bridge
« on: March 31, 2011, 09:30:15 pm »
Hello,

 Here's my problem.

 I have a network (10.6.19.0/24) defines as "internal" on eth0.
 On this network, there is a subnet (10.6.18.0/24) connected by a bridge electronics.

 But there is no traffic flowing between two networks. I set different value at the firewall, but there is no traffic between the networks.

 If I "ping" one machine subnets (10.6.18.0/24) it works.

 By cons, a simple HTTP or SSH connection does not work.

 I defined a Static Route to the subnets.

 I tried directly connecting the electronic gateway to a third network card (eth2) which I installed in my server Zentyal and defining it as "external" and it ............. works!!
 But I can not use the networks like this.

 Zentyal Before, we used SME SERVER and it worked fine.

 My question: how to have Zentyal allow me access subnets through the electronic bridge without having to add a network card.

 Thank you in advance

 N.B.: Excuse me my English
