Hi,

normally, there are some settings in the Firewall module that seperate the nets...
Did you try to disable the Firewall and test? [ In my Net, I use a UTM, so I disabled the Zentyal Firewall completely... ]

Hi,

normally "SOGo" is not working on Port 20k (via WebBrowser)...

did you try via http(s)://[IP]/SOGo/ ?

Sidenote:

In Zentyal you use the RSAT Tools to deploy GPO like on M$ Servers ;-)

Directory and Authentication / Re: Error while restarting samba

Hi,

is your Zentyal box also the SchemaMaster, or is it another box?

If it is the same => sounds like a config issue while deploying your Samba Domain.
If different devices: maybe a Firewall issue? Or an issue with the certificates used by samba?

Easy way:

rsync the directory /var/vmail/[domainname] (if I remember right; atm I do not have SSH access to my Zentyal boxes) to a NAS or similar storage.

For Calendar and Contacts use the sogo-tool (it has a backup option...) and rsync the data to a different storage...

Hi,

if I am not completely wrong, there is an apparmor conf file that needs to be changed...
Sorry, I do not have details atm...

I do not have "direct" access to my Zentyal boxes until weekend, so if it is urgent, try googleling AppArmor and kerberos (/ SaMBa)

Hi,

if nothing else helps, how about putting a "mount script" in boot.local?
I think Zentyal has a stub for the fstab, but atm I cannot check it...

ssh / scp (in combination with rsync maybe???) ;-)

I would give it a try...

regarding to the posted messages it could be that the FS "has died"... :-(

Hi,

you were more than half way there ;-)

please try:
mount /dev/mapper/core--vg-root /mnt

(or was it just a typo?)
Do you remember with which filesystem your LVM is formated? (I guess ext3 or ext4) you can give the mount program the fs-type by e.g. adding -t (fs): mount -t ext3 (...)
Was your Ubuntu Live disc an older Version? If you used ext4 for the partition, and your life-sys does not support ext4 that would resut in the error you posted.

Sometimes it is a bit easier to use gparted (also possible via live disc).
There you have a GUI similar to PartitionM***c some other useful tools and a (grafical) file-manager.

When you do a the next test, could you post the lines in /var/log/syslog that are linked to the mount?

did you check the DNS Config (in the Zentyal GUI)? there you can add hosts / IPs...

73
pbis-open seems to be not configured / installed correctly...

Did you try it without this / did you already try to reinstall (better: purge and do a fresh install of this)?
Did you check forums / messageboards regarding such an error in pbis?

74
Do you have any logs regarding the pbis-open?
maybe remove the package and try again?

Hi, did you move the FSMO Roles to your BDC?
I think missing this caused your issue...
