Installation and Upgrades / Re: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused
« on: May 14, 2013, 11:38:13 pm »
same problem here:
execution of "/usr/share/zentyal-mailfilter/mailfilter-ldap update" gives me
EBox::UsersAndGroups::User=HASH(0x38f55b8)->name is not a system user as it has to be at /usr/share/zentyal-mailfilter/mailfilter-ldap line 42, <GEN0> line 2.
Have disabled the mail filter module for now, but am looking for a solution. Situation was not present before upgrading to 3.0.20...
Is maybe related to http://trac.zentyal.org/ticket/6058?

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Samba & CUPS - not printing
« on: January 27, 2013, 10:42:09 am »
Did you enable sharing of the printer? When you manage the printer it should list as:
<PRINTERNAME>(Idle, Accepting Jobs, Shared, Server Default)
<PRINTERNAME>(Idle, Accepting Jobs, Shared, Server Default)

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Is there any limitation with community edition?
« on: January 27, 2013, 10:33:44 am »
Regarding admin account management: my experience is that in the community edition you are not able to add administrator users, so there is only one admin account/login to the webinterface possible, which is created during setup.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: HOWTO: Ubuntu client with LDAP authentication and pam_mount for mounting $HOME
« on: January 22, 2013, 11:17:43 pm »
In my situation home folders were not automagically mounted, but after some deep digging in various logfiles I found the cause: the home folder of the particular user started with a capital letter.
Solved it by making a link to the home folder with the same name, starting with the small variant of the capital.
Another issue that came by: when the home folder size is above its quotum, it does not automount as well, it even causes that the lightdm environment does not log in (it sets you back to typing user-pass).
Solve that by logging in on tty1 (CTRL-ALT-F1), clean up some files, log out and back in on tty7.
