Hi there
I'm trying to install Zentyal on a Raspberry Pi 2, and that doesn't work...
I've installed UBUNTU SERVER on the PI, and located the Zentyal's sources files to put it on the SOURCES.LIST in ssh, and the apt-key.
After all, I can't install Zentyal on the PI, because the sources list is not reachable.
I've also tryed with other dist, like RASPBIAN and I've the same results
have you got a solution?
thanx a lot

There are no ARM based packages for the Zentyal modules. Only if you insist on getting Zentyal to work on a pi2, you should build the packages from source. However, I doubt this will be a good idea, since Zentyal 3+ is quite memory hungry and the pi2 only has 1GB.

Thanx for the answer.
I've tested Zentyal 4.1 on a 512MB ram server, and it work fine.
I only use zentyal like Gateway, firewalland clamav, no samba and other stuff.
How do we build packages?
Edit: i've tryed to put IPCOP and IPFIRE on the PI2, but both are not supported in arm7... And they will do what i want. Only Zentyal can replace them like this

I'd suggest to search for 'firewall rpi2' on Google.
One of the hits I got was http://www.instructables.com/id/Raspberry-Pi-Firewall-and-Intrusion-Detection-Syst/?ALLSTEPS or even http://computers.tutsplus.com/articles/installing-openwrt-on-a-raspberry-pi-as-a-new-home-firewall--mac-55984
It might be more suitable for your situation.

I've done this, but OPENWRT is not supported by the Pi2, and i hate arch-linux (not friendly user, and when you put some tested packages for this distro, it becomes very slow)
I think i'll try with raspbian (debian portage for the Pi), and see what can i do with this stuff.
Thanks for the help
But, if someone have other ideas, there are welcome ^_^

Today the Raspberry Pi 4 with 4 gig of memory was announced, so it might be a better platform to try again to get Zential working?

Hi knarf!
Do you have tried to install some other package on your ubuntu server system?
Do you have tried to access the Zentyal packages repository with wget?
It could be a connectivity problem, or a DNS problem.
Cheers!
