Hi,

only to comment that both solutions worked well to fix the problem with the ACLs.
but, the second is better, because the samba-tool connect via network and is more slow than setfattr.

Installation and Upgrades / enable quota on new disk

Hi,

I create a partition to /home (/dev/sdc1) and it dont have quotas enabled on samba.

I changed the file /etc/zentyal/samba.conf and add this :

# Add here any mount point but /home which should have quotas applied.
# Example: quota_mountpoints = /var/vmail /shares/myfiles
quota_mountpoints = /home

restart the server, but I still dont have quotes enable.

quota: Cannot open quotafile /home/aquota.user: No such file or directory
Disk quotas for user itabsa (uid 1000):
     Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
     /dev/xvda1       4       0       0               8       0       0

any idea how enable quota in a new disk/partition ??

Hi

It is only me that have this problem ??
I tried to install 3 times (two from ubutnu + repos and other from ISO), in all install I dont have the antivirus option enable on SAMBA.

attentive for any idea.

Hi,

What happened with the antivirus module to check the file server

I installed a new server and put the repos of zentyal and install zentyal-ad and at the end the samba antivirus don;t exist.
I downaloded the last ISO (devel) and install all modules of Samba / antivirus / dns/ firewall and at the end, the same (I only have the share and recicled bin tabs).

is this modules disabled in the community ??

because here https://wiki.zentyal.org/wiki/En/5.0/Configuring_a_file_server_with_Zentyal
show that the antivirus is OK yet in the zentyal 5.

Installation and Upgrades / both samba are configured as ADC

Hello,

I have two zentyal 4.0 and sambas servers configured to my domain, but just today I see that both are configured like Aditional Domain Controller (ADC).

I tried to change one of it from ADC to Domain Controller, but the system show this alert:

Changing the domain name will cause to reprovision the samba database. The users and groups will be imported from Zentyal LDAP, but you will have to rejoin all computers to the new domain.

Both servers are configured and sincronized OK

And when one server is down, the other work without problem and if I change/add/delete info about one user in one server, the sincronization occurres inmediatily.

"but", I cant create a GPO because on both I have the message that the GPO need be create/administrate on DC !!! :-(


NOte: Just now, I made a upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1, but the problem still (on both servers, I have configured like ADC).

how I can change this configuration without rejoin all the computers to domain
